...teeny weeny sneaky peeky and a comp!

ED this competition closed at midnight with 249 comments!!!

Good morning! I have a sneaky peek for you today! We are having a little release on Tuesday! It's a tiny little release of 3 sets that I had all ready before my mum went into hospital.

I hope you like it, it's a companion set and a much requested one at that! The image in the sneak peek is made up of two stamps, it's a very customisable set!

We will begin showing samples tomorrow and we'd love for you to stop by and pick up some inspiration!

Just for fun I'm going to run a little competition here this morning, entries for this will close on Monday night, midnight, my time, and all you have to do is leave me a comment here on this blog telling me what sort of cards you make most - Me? I seem to always be in need of 'Thank You' cards, how about you?

OOh and the prize, well, lets make it a goodie shall we? How about £50 to spend in the WMS store! Yep I will pick one random winner to win! And here's the plan, if we get over 100 entries (one per person please) I will award another £50 prize (approx $80). If we get over 200 replies we'll award another prize, so it's probably a good idea to spread this around, the more replies we get the more prizes there will be!

  12. Can I really be the first? Wow! I most often make cards without sentiments! But I usually use them as thank you cards. I also make quite a few get well, baby sympathy and thank you for your hospitality cards. I never make birthday or holiday cards because I don't celebrate those and neither does anyone in my circle of friends.

    ReplyDelete
  13. I too make alot of thank you cards! Lately however, I have been having to make far too many get well cards!! I seem to be surrounded by sick people! Thank goodness it is starting to slow down and I can get back to making thank you and birthday cards along with a bunch of "I'm sorry" cards for not sending said birthday and thank you cards!! So I welcome you to my vicious never ending circle of life!! I looks so forward to shopping w/ you in the near future!! ginger

  77. birthday cards - hands down. love the sneak peak. cannot wait to see the whole mini set.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I used to be able to say birthday and thank you, but sadly, since I turned 50, SYMPATHY cards are the biggest need.. Older aunts and uncles are failing, and when someone near dies, you usually need five or ten cards and they can't all be the same as the recipients know each other.

A set of special sympathy sentiments would be so welcome. I bought Words of Wisdom for that fantastic quote about the horizon and I'd love more like that! Powerful and sincere and hopeful. There is another quote I love: "No winter lasts forever; no spring skips its turn. " isn't that a great analogy for grief?

Of course the other sad thing at this age is friends with cancer. Lots of fight, you can beat this stuff out there but not so much about enduring the ordeal.

Sorry to be so depressing, guess I had a lot to say all pent up!

    ReplyDelete
  79. Lately, I seem to be making wedding cards. But usually I need a Thank You or a birthday card to send or give.

  115. Thanks for a chance to win some great stamps :-) I also make more thank you cards. I love to thank co-workers for the little things they do that make my life easier.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Hello there! Most of the cards I make are donated, and the biggest need seems to be for Thank You cards. Sometimes I'll do cards without sentiments, which allows them to be used as needed.

I finally made an inventory of all my sentiments, which has been just great! It allows me to get a better handle on what will be a better fit, whether physically or simply what's best suited to the design. Lately it seems that I use at least one sentiment from Fancy Phrases in whatever group of cards I make. That set is incredibly versatile, and I love the fonts!

    ReplyDelete

  179. Hi Claire, I can't believe we are in May already! Get Well wishes to your Mum. ((hugs)). I make a ton of birthday cards for the folks at hubby's work, mostly men. Its great fun for them as the whole group signs each card. And I make holiday treats for the ladies, about 20, the women are out numbered about 5 to 1. LOL so it has really stretched my creativity as I try to accommodate each card based on hobbies or personalities of each recipient. Have a great Day!
