...April PJ Party on the 14th - You're invited!

 

We’re having a pajama party and you’re invited to attend!! My hero of the hour Jeanne Jachna has stepped in to prep the PJ party for us while I get on with some boring behind the scenes stuff, Jeanne has a superb theme lined up for us and I heard a whisper that she and our lovely friend Cathy Weber got together to make up what I think is our best sketch challenge yet!! I am so looking forward to playing along with this one ladies! I'll be in the office if you need me and I'll let Jeanne take the floor now-

 

 Everyone knows that April Showers bring May Flowers! We’re pushing away those storm clouds and showering gifts this month. I’m thinking baby and wedding showers!

Challenge No.1 - Shower with Gifts 

Make a gift tag for a baby or wedding shower. Wedding showers started in the 1890’s when a hostess filled a paper parasol with small presents from the guests and turned it over the head of the bride-to-be. This idea hit the fashion pages and everyone wanted to have a “shower” of their own. Of course, gifts have become too big to drop on the heads of even the bravest recipients. Why not dress one up with a fabby tag? Challenge No.2 - Gift Card It

Make a wedding or baby shower card to get the new household started out on the right foot! Let’s face it… it takes a whole lot to set up house, or baby’s nursery! A shower is a wonderful way to help out with all those every day necessities for the new couple/family. A pocket card or place to tuck a little gift card would be just right! Any of our Gift Card it related sets would be wonderful for this challenge.

Maybe a tea themed shower card? Isn’t this just lovely?

Challenge No. 3 - Old Pajamas

Make a project using any of your older Waltzingmouse Nestie Sets. Reorganizing, arranging, and preparing for their life together or new family member is called “nesting” . So let’s break out our “Nestie” sets. These are the Spellbinder compatible stamps that you can find here in the store.

Here is the sketch... Go ahead and create now - and your card will be ready to link up when we open the PJ party on the 14th! Like the other challenges links for this challenge will remain open for 24 hours, so you will still have time to play on the night!

PJ Party Schedule:

The PJ party post and all challenge links will go live at 11:45pm on the 14th April.
The PJ party winner will be announced at 11.45pm on the 15th April.

Rules - a little housekeeping!
• You don't have to use Waltzingmouse Stamps to play along, 

but it will make us especially happy if you do!

• You can enter each challenge as many times as you like, using separate cards and separate links, 

but you cannot enter any one card in more than one challenge!

• Links should take folks directly to the blog post/spot where we can see/

comment on your challenge entry.

• Please mention our PJ party and challenge on your blog or gallery post 

(you are welcome to grab the PJ logo or sketch graphic and add those to your blog if you like)

• You do not need to enter every challenge, but the more entries you have 

the better chance of winning the prize!

Prizes
We will have one overall winner chosen at random from the 4 challenges. The prize winner will receive £30GBP store credit for Waltzingmouse Stamps.

Now please note - this is important - if the winning entry prominently features Waltzingmouse brand stamps or dies the prize will be doubled and the winner will get £60GBP (approx $98USD)!

Please note that projects using only free WMS products will not be eligible for the double prize - though you could still qualify for the £30GBP!
