...Time you enjoy - and chance to win a set!

Spotted this in Joyce's craft shop in Recess, Connemara, a couple of weeks ago - I love the sentiment. Joyce's is full of beautiful knitwear and woven goods, but the Brennans exited with three wooden swords... my days of leisurely browsing gift shops is long gone, but I'm happy to play the wounded Norman so it's grand...

Anyhow, this is my cover note for why I have no card on the blog today - been pinning down a future release today, and its beginning to look like Waltzingmouse Stamps may be able to begin using a static release day - wouldn't that be a good idea? imagine if we were able to release on the same date every month - we'd all know where we were then!! I'm getting a little excited!

Would love to know what you'd think of that so if you care to comment I will enter your 'hat' in a draw for a free stamp set! I'll draw a winner on Wed night! midnight my time, you have until then!

  1. I love chalk art and I am glad to see businesses getting artsy. LOL. wow, tying up a few loose ends and reducing stress would be fantastic for your business. Don't know how you do it, but hats off to you. I would be a nervous wreck every month. Good luck.

  10. I think a set date is a great idea. If I was planning on purchasing a stamp set I would then know to wait a few days longer to see the new stamps just in case (as always) I also wanted one of the new sets! I guess it would make it easier for the DT also too? Knowing in advance reguarily when they would have to have samples made for etc?!

  11. Great idea, Claire ... especially if it works out that your fixed date is different from others ... that way we have more 'space' to enjoy it (and make those all important choices!) Anita :)

  12. I've been wondering about when WMS would have a Christmas release. Knowing when the releases will be helps plan my spending. A monthly release sounds difficult though. So much work. But if you are up for it, it would be great!

  13. Same date every month sounds like a brill idea. It also allows people to budget for their stamps each month, knowing that there will be a release. Plus it gives stampers lots to look forward to!

  15. You can never have too many wooden swords around the house :) A set release day schedule would be great as then I can save my pennies in readiness for all of the tempting designs you bring our way!

  25. Yay! I'm there no matter, but it would be easier, and make things full of anticipation. Gorgeous chalk art. We have a chef pig in the kitchen that holds a chalk board. The grandkids take turns drawing seasonal pictures. Halloween is Nate's turn. 1st of the month, the board will turn spooky!

  27. I love routine so a set date for releases sounds great, but having it every other month is perfectly fine too rather than every month. We don't want you to burn out! :) Can't wait to see what the next release holds!

  39. I think a set date for new releases would be a great idea. Then we would be able to plan (& budget) accordingly. Plus, I think it would help build the excitement level.

  40. A set release date would be heavenly. Even if it were every other month instead of every month. Gives you a breather and we have tie to save our pennies. (If only it were just pennies!) LOL

  41. Claire, I am going to 'second' the comments by "snowbear" here.
Added stress for any of us would not make me feel better, but there IS something to be said FOR 'regularity'. ;)

  46. Augh - I'm more excited by the lovely graphics on the blackboard (I would have been photographing it too) - love to have a go at doing that given time...all those Victorian style swirls and curves..mmmmm....however to answer your question it matters not a jot to me when you release......you are unique...I'm probably the only one who doesn't mind at all.
