ED - the My Heart cut files are here. Cheers for asking Tara.
Well that sucks...I was feeling all vintagy earlier and made up a wee card - My colours were lovely in real life. I was feeling all designery and trendy and now that I see the photos it's like 50 shades of mediocre...
Ah well, I guess that's how it goes - I'll blame the pathetic light here in NI.... Seriously though, that green is quite mild in real life and was setting off the muted pink rather lovely-like. In this pic it's all rather jarring....shudder.......posting it anyhow...just to prove I'm getting up off my behind finally....maybe it will spur me on to make something else, just so's I can get it well down the blog page.....
On the upside, I like how the My Heart stamps are working with the cut files...
Dont you hate when that happens?? For the record, I think its a lovely card, I love how you stitched down the ribbon, superb!
ReplyDeleteI love it Claire - the colours look great to me ;-)
ReplyDeleteI was looking for cut files in the store for the My Heart set but couldn't find them - are they there now?
Tara
Well I think it's lovely! You shouldn't be so hard on yourself! I love the idea of stitching the ribbon onto the background in stripes and I want to find my old sewing machine now. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI think these colours look fabulous - but then I like pink and green - so very pretty. The triple bow is just brilliant and I do like the pearls. Nice to see you back in action.
ReplyDeleteHope you are all on the road to recovery xx
Wow...if that card is mediocre I'm definitely not posting any of my cards. lol

ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! I love the rows of stitching!
ReplyDeletePhotos lie... I surely don't look in real life the way pictures would lead you to believe, right?
ReplyDeleteIt's just lovely, and you're far too hard on yourself :)
This is so pretty Claire! Lovely country feel to this, I love the pretty colours, and the fabulous silky ribbon and bow! Wonderful inspiration!
