...Welcome to September at Waltzingmouse Stamps

Psst! - Check the previous post to see if you were one of our two lucky winners!!

Hello and welcome to the September release. Wow! what a week of samples we have had! The DT girls are just too much!! I stand in awe!!

Just before we get started we have one more little trip for you, a little waltz along our traditional release day DT blog waltz!

OOh remember to comment here on this post and on each of the DT posts for a chance of winning yet more stampy goodness!!! There will be 2 winners, a free stamp set each!!
Also for this release - FREE shipping for orders over £50 to Everywhere!
(approx $77US, $80CAD, $83AUD, €60Euros, subject to change)

So, I forgot to take down the free shipping offer that started last month...LOL, you know what? I think we'll just leave that offer on indefinitely... what do you say?

I begin packing orders as soon as they start to come in, I will begin shipping tomorrow (Monday) BUT please be aware that depending on the volume of orders, there will be delays in shipping this week!! Shipping notices for orders placed at release times will go out after all packing and shipping is done!! My priority is to get the stamps out ASAP during release times!! So my apologies in advance if your stamps arrive before the shipping notice...

Here's what's new for September!

Five Clear Photopolymer Stamp sets:

(approx US Dollars = $22.25 Australian Dollars = $24.01 Canadian Dollars = $23.07 Euros = €17.55 subject to change)

One 6x4 inch set retailing at £9.00 per set
(approx US Dollars = $13.81 Australian Dollars = $14.90 Canadian Dollars = $14.32 Euros = €10.90 subject to change)
Teeny Trees
A terrifically versatile set for creating your own mini trees! One at a time or by the forest! Unending combinations of foliage to personalise your trees, 3 trunk sizes and a spare branch! lol Two little birdies to populate your kingdom and various single motifs such as an apple, snowballs and different types of leaves! OOh and sparkles, we have a little sparkly star garland in case you want to start dressing up your trees for Christmas! Clean and modern lettering on the 15 sentiments stamps which will see you through the year! Ooh and did you see? Anya made snowflakes with the trunks! Genius!
The large solid oval treetop is 1.8 inches tall by 1.45 inches wide. The sentiment 'glad tidings' is 1.81inches wide by 0,4 inches tall. All images and stamp designs are Copyright © 2010 Waltzingmouse Stamps, Claire Brennan.
Nutcracker Sweet
Reminiscent of a traditional European Christmas, the nutcracker is a firm favourite in our house, but I've made mine extra friendly...not everyone can look happily upon those fearsome teeth LOL, right Bonnie?
There are two nutcracker figures in this set, the Prince, of course, in full military garb and a St Nicholas in traditional robe. Perfect for colourists and stampers alike, the highly detailed images look fabulous stamped simply or fully coloured, you choose. Images abound in this set, two Christmas trees, two tag designs, both punchable with 1.75 inch and two inch punches or perfect for Spellbinder circle die templates. Eleven accompanying motif stamps including attractive swag and ribbon stamps.
There are 16 sentiments in this set, 3 of which are in other languages,
It just didn't seem right not to have these options in a set so obviously European in inspiration:
God Jul - which I believe translates as Merry Christmas in Danish, Swedish and Norwegian
Zalig Kerstfeest - Merry Christmas in Dutch
Fröhliche Weihnachten - which I believe is the formal version of Merry Christmas in German
St Nicholas stamp is just over 3.5 inches in height by just over 1.75 inches at the widest points. Nutcracker sentiment is just a smidge under 1.5 inches long and 1/3 of an inche tall. All images and stamp designs are Copyright © 2010 Waltzingmouse Stamps, Claire Brennan.
Musical Backgrounds

A set of musical bars and notes designed to help you create sheet music backgrounds, in a scale suited to your cards, in any colour you desire, no more cutting up precious old manuscripts! Use these stamps to help you create stamped backgrounds, tags, stamped flowers, all sorts of accents for your cards throughout the year.
Featuring musical notation in a few different sizes as well as a piano keys stamp and a pair of 'reverse' stamps that will allow you to print solid panels.
You should be aware that the 'reverse' stamps are very solid and will work best with the fun foam/mousemat trick to get your image nice and solid. Simply place a piece of thin fun foam or an upturned mousemat under your cardstock before stamping so that you get a good solid impression. The best ink for this sort of stamp will be something like a Versacolour, looser inks such as distress inks will not give a solid smooth covering but a more mottled aged affect, which might be just what you are looking for!! Best plan is to try it on scratch paper first!
Also the smallest scale music stamps are very mini!! I wanted them to use on mini tags etc and so the music backgrounds you produce with these will appear almost as a pattern, you won't want to try playing any notes on your piano from these!! you might give yourself a headache!! My daughter is going to use them to make music books for her teddies!! lol, but they'll be grand, they have wee beady eyes!
The piano keys stamp is just under 6 and 1/4 inches in length by 0.6 inches in height. The tiny scaled music stamp is just under 2.5 inches long and just over 2 and 1/4 inches tall. All images and stamp designs are Copyright © 2010 Waltzingmouse Stamps, Claire Brennan.

Half-Pint Heroes

A cute stamp set featuring 3 vehicles popular with boys of every age, and an assortment of little faces for you to stamp inside the vehicles. My little guy loves when I pick the face that looks most like his and stamp it into the rocket! I imagine yours will too! Perfect for all sorts of little and not-so-little boy occasions, this is a terrific set to just have fun with. Try stamping the porthole window (compatible with 1.5 inch circle punch) on a paper aeroplane or paper boat that you have folded and let your little dude become an instant pilot, he can colour it in himself while you stamp a card!! What fun!
Check out the wee little waving arm stamp!! your little dude can wave from the car, the rocket, even the submarine if he likes! Paper aeroplanes and boats also make fabby table decs and favours for parties!! A great set for cards, party invitations, thank you notes...fun

My favourite sentiment reads" You make me happy every day" try inking it up, minus the word 'happy and inserting "laugh" or "smile". I love "gee thanks" too!

Already in the works are an additions set...there just wasn't enough room in this set for the fire engine! LOL! And you KNOW there's gonna be a Half-Pint Heroines...don't you?

Porthole stamp is just under 1.5 inches in diameter. Ahoy matey sentiment is just a smidge under 1.5 inches long and under 0.5 inches tall. All images and stamp designs are Copyright © 2010 Waltzingmouse Stamps, Claire Brennan.

Bountiful Baskets Additions

A Mini stamp set designed as an additions to the very popular Spring Baskets set. This set is also complete on it's own, you don't need to have Spring Baskets to use this set, but it does make for some fabulous combinations if you already own Spring Baskets. See the images immediately above.
5 new 'fillers' and two new basket designs combined with 3 more sentiments will really expand your basket repertoire. The poinsettisas will work best if you stamp them first and then mask them before stamping the basket, the other 4 fillers may be stamped directly on top of the basket images without masking. All fillers will work with the Spring baskets too! Can't wait to see the combinations!
The pumpkins and ginger bread men fillers match our previous sets Peace and Plenty and Gingerbread Joy, perfectly so you can co-ordinate with your older sets!!
Three mini motifs for extra design possibilities!!
The poinsettias measure just under 2 inches wide by 1.6inches tall. The Let us give Thanks sentiment is 1.4 inches wide by just over 0.4 inches tall. All images and stamp designs are Copyright © 2010 Waltzingmouse Stamps, Claire Brennan.

Please note, if you are interested in Bountiful Baskets additions I would draw your attention to this piece of information, it's on the post immediately below this one. Thank you.

Our Stamp sets are designed in N. Ireland and produced in the USA from the best quality clear photopolymer. They are self sticking and are designed for use with clear acrylic blocks. read more here.

Hope they tickle! - and don't forget to comment for a chance to win!
