...does my bum look big in this?

Ok, so I wanted to try the pink version of yesterday's card, lol, I dunno, does it suit me better? I think I'll stick with green...lol

Things I like: the stamping, the piercing, the ribbon. I love the wee co-ordinating branch that I used to stamp on the Kraft mat to make that wee 'scandic style' border decoration

Things I'm not so happy 'bout: the shade of the Kraft cardstock, it's too dark, I need a source for a lighter colour Kraft cardstock...picky, aren't I? lol

Stamps are from the new Faux Fun Circles.

Hope it tickles!

  3. I actually like this card better - I love the softness of the colors and the piercing. The ribbon and the way you tied it up with the buttons, just knocked me off my shoes! Hope you don't mind I will case that....

  4. I like the ribbon as it's size and color tone down the kraft that you don't seem to like - it's darkness. It also acts as the perfect frame for your art. Personally, I like the card, if you want lighter try the direct to paper rubbing a white or Brilliance Moonlight white over the kraft to tone it down. I'm just sayin'.

  5. Oh Claire it's gorgeous!!! But then again I'm a big fan of all things pink and all things Waltzingmouse. I like the depth the darker kraft adds to the base of this card. A lighter kraft would be nice to have though. :0)

  12. Thrilled! Really like the impact of the piercing technique. My order with Faux Fun Circles arrived on my doorstep yesterday--so glad it was not a work day and DH was late coming home so I could ink up all my wonders. Just had to C.A.S.E. this card, then it was off to create a few images of my own. Good show, Claire.

Just thought of something re: the comment about the kraft being too dark--what about some rustic cream CS, it would be lighter, but too light?

  14. Hi Claire, I am going to put in my vote for the pink version which I just love. I also love to paper pierce, so this ticks two of my boxes!. As to the colour of the kraft, I know exactly what you mean. If you can get hold of it, try SU's Sahara Sand shade of card which is just gorgeous and which I often reach for when I want something in the kraft-ish range but a bit softer.

  17. Hi claire

    They are both very beautifull.
I like the wee border decoration very much.
But for a gift to a man I would prefer the green one.
