I will have a card tomorrow - this has been a hectic week, but it's slowing down at last!!
Quick question - what do we think of sneak peeks?
I'm working on my launch plan for the next stamp set release and I just wondered if you all like sneak peeks? I'm in two minds, there's no doubt they work because I always check the websites I like when they are showing sneaks but sometimes I just want to see the stamps already.
My plan so far is to have 4/5 days of projects - much like I did last time, but if you all fancy a sneak peek or three I could line that up beforehand!
I intend to run a little competition beforehand tho - like I did before, I want folks to guess what my next stamp sets are, there are two.
The first person to leave a comment correctly guessing the subject of the stamps will win their choice of stampset from this next release.
Post your entries in the comments for this post and I will leave this open till Wednesday 10th June.
If you make more than one comment, I'll be counting the first guess as your entry, many thanks.
Hmmm I like a little tease. As to what you will do next... I am thinking something cute, like some little frogs or rabbits... some kind of little animal. I think it is so awesome you are following your dream this way. You rock Claire!
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna guess cupcakes :)
ReplyDeletegreat idea of a sneak peek...like you I'm more prone to go visit then again and again
ReplyDeleteMy guesses for the next stamp sets are Birthday and 4th of July or patriotic
I love sneak peaks. I say go for it.
ReplyDeleteReindeer is my guess for your next stamp set.
something summery ;)
ReplyDeleteWell I do like sneak peeks I suppose as they keep you interested if you like the images - but what makes me really want a certain stamp set is the projects the designer has made with them. I often think Oh I Must have that!
ReplyDeleteAs for your next stamps - blimey Claire - they could be anything! I've no imagination so I'll guess something farmyardy like chickens, or sheep, or pigs, or cows or even the dairymaid.
I would say tea, because I know you love it. :-)
ReplyDeleteWell that's really a hard question but I'll a stab at it......
ReplyDeleteI guess a flower stamp of some sort.

I'd love to see sneak peeks Claire! They get us hyped up for the coming new sets! Wondering what they are all about etc!
ReplyDeleteI'll guess that your next stamp set is of Ireland stuff - like cottages, hillsides, trees - you always have such lovely photos of the countryside near you!
I'll go with my favorite thing right now....Cupcakes! :)
ReplyDeleteI love your cards and your stamp sets are so cute. I always enjoy sneak peeks (and they get me excited for the next one!) I am guessing that your stamps may have a floral theme? I'm sure anything you come up with will be wonderful and I can't wait to see it!
ReplyDeleteFlowers!
ReplyDeleteHello! First of all I would like to tell you that I LOVE your stamps and I will place an order soon. Your style is so unique, I am super-excited that you have a stamp line now!
ReplyDeleteI love sneak peeks, so I would be happy to have the same kind of sneak peeks like you had last time.
Competition: since you always say that you like Xmas, I think that you have designed some Xmas trees.
I love your logo! Well done Claire, keep up the good work!!!

Hi Claire! I like that you did the projects, so my vote is projects a few days in advance and no other sneak peeks. I personally think that by doing something a little different that you will set yourself apart from the other companies.
ReplyDeleteMy guess will be halloween stamps!
Have a great day. Heather J.
I love sneak peeks Claire, they drive me crazy with anticipation but I love em all the same. I am guessing and hoping one of your next stamp sets are your lovely cottages you drew for us earlier in the year. But whatever they are I am sure they will be beautiful x
ReplyDeleteHi - I'm from little old Tassie in Australia, and have just 'lucked' onto your blog. I really like the ideas I have seen so far! Guess it's another one added to favourites. I will enter your competition - I guess your stamp sets will be birds and animals!
ReplyDeleteHi Claire, I am not the biggest fan of sneak peeks as prefer just to see lol but guess i am not typical.
ReplyDeleteMy guess for your stamps is maybe some little gingerbread houses and things for the gingerbread folk ?
Hope you have a terrific weekend my friend
Hugs June x
OOOOO
ReplyDeleteDolphins or seahorses would be my guess,
Hugs
Angie
Claire, Sneak peaks are fun!! They help get all of us excited about what's to come.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to make two guesses on your next set... Mice or a princess set with castles. You're always doing something with the cute princess towers.
I quite like sneak peeks, but not for too long, so a day or two maybe but not for days on end, I get to the point where I'm just like - show me the stamps already!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteA wild guess at your next set, which could be anything, and that I don't think has already been guessed is coffee or tea, a set of cups and saucers and tea/coffee pots that sort of thing.
All the best
Jan x
Is this competition open to me lol
ReplyDeleteI think one of the sets will have something to do with Christmas Trees, and the other set would be some kind of cooking set. Alice R. Glad you are doing what you like. Congratulations!!
ReplyDeleteI guess Christmas trees and stuff to go with them.

ReplyDeleteHi Claire! I thought I posted earlier this morning but now I don't see it as I read all the other fun responces. If this is a second comment, please deleat it. I enjoy the sneak peeks, they're fun. I'm so excited for you to have your own line of stamps! I'll guess that the next set will have some beautiful celtic knots and some Irish prayers and blessings and such. If this isn't the case, you can consider this a hint for future ideas! ;) I love your work!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing your next set will have Summer flowers and baby themes.
ReplyDeleteHi Claire, I received your first two sets and LOVE them. My husband thinks I'm crazy making Christmas cards in June !!!!
ReplyDeleteI will buy whatever else it is, but I'm guessing a regal kingly set, or a baking set (kitcheny type things)
I am going to guess in the christmas line and say Santa Claus!
ReplyDeleteWe just arrived back from vacation and my gingies were in the mail...the first thing I did was open them up and stamp! lol They are wonderful! Looking forward to more goodies from you :)
I don't need peeks if you are posting something every day with the new 5 days is enough. Of course, if you are doing more, I will come more often, lol!
ReplyDeleteI promise I will try the sewing, Claire, your's did tickle!
I just want to know: where is the set of stamps with the christmas quilt, eh? If that's what it is, i need it ASAP, please, lol!!
You can delete this Claire, but it just occurred to me: Maybe you are doing a baby set with wee ones!!! omg, lol lol... well, I can wish, can't I?
ReplyDeleteWell this sort of thing certainly gets everyones attention and curiosity going.
ReplyDeleteI'd say from the kitchen of... so, baking/cooking theme?
I personally like a sneak peek---it's just fun to imagine what else will be in the kit---as far as your stamp sets, hmmmm, I think maybe a Fall set----like pumpkins or Halloween and a Christmas set--
ReplyDeleteI'm going with 4th of July
ReplyDeleteI love sneak peeks - so I think that would be great fun.
ReplyDeleteI am guessing you might be doing as one of your stamp sets a Christmas tree, decorations and wording seeing as how you love Christmas so much.
Thanks for the chance.
I'm guessing snowmen
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I need a sneak peak, because your projects are a bit of a sneak peak for me.
ReplyDeleteI think your next set includes something do to with mice. I know your love Christmas, and since your blog name is Waltzing Mouse, I think something like a Christmas mouse.
I'll guess a flower and vine set.
ReplyDeleteDeniseB
I am sticking with Christmas - is it a stocking set?
ReplyDeleteAs an idea though...what about children Christmas caroling? With interchangeable clothes and accessories.
As you love Christms so much, I'm going to guess Christmas trees and the decorations to dress them up. I enjoy the sneak peeks with all the great ideas and inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI think your next set will be Christmas. I wonder if it will be Christmas tree and ornaments for trees? Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be wonderful! hugs, Michelle
ReplyDeleteClaire, because you like Christmas in a big way I think you might stick with the season for your next set. I'm thinking snowmen.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to a sneak peak.

ReplyDeleteSnowmen or ladies!!
ReplyDeleteI love sneak peaks as it get me going as to what they are. I get excited just to see them. lol. :)
ReplyDeleteas for your next stamp set lets see, my guess is halloween as one cannot have some fun with halloween now.

I love the ANTICIPATION that Sneak Peeks cause!
ReplyDeleteMy #1 guess is PATRIOTIC
I really enjoy the sneak peeks! I think that you've got the right formula - three peeks, and 4/5 days of samples leading up to the release. Builds excitement :-)
ReplyDeleteNow, for your next stamp set... I'm guessing a school set, birthday set, or animal set.
I'm guessing Irish/celtic. Definitely a need for a good one of these!
ReplyDeleteI like sneak peaks a lot. As for the new release I am thinking it will be something summery...swings, sea shore, buckets and shovels...that sort of thing!
ReplyDeleteLove sneak peaks - as long as they don't draw out over a week! :)
ReplyDeleteAs for what your next sets are going to be.........knowing your passion for Christmas, I suspect a Christmas tree, some candy canes, perhaps a few reindeer? Oh, and maybe something with your little mouse that you used in your logo? Whatever it is, I know it will be great!
I think Christmas tree and ornaments!!!
ReplyDeleteInsects
ReplyDeleteI think it may be cupcakes but I am pretty useless at guessing.

I'm sure it will be Christmasy again...this time it will be trees.
ReplyDeleteI think it will be a tea or birthday party theme - all with a tea party theme - so cup cakes, teapots and pretty things like that
ReplyDeleteRachel
Oh or it could be little meeces (mice) dancing around and doing fun/cheeky things
ReplyDeleteRachel
my first thought is Elves!!!
ReplyDeletePam Going Postal
My quess is Christmas ornaments. I know you love Christmas and if you are gravitating towards making things that you can change around like your darling gingerbread men, think of all the decorations you could add to a Christmas tree ornament to make them different:)
ReplyDeleteI think it's going to be either patchwork designs including some aprons, bedspreads etc for the gingerbread men or a collection of gingerbread me accessories; a house, car, pets etc. x
ReplyDeleteKnowing how much you love Christmas (I do too!) I will stick with the Christmas theme and say snowflakes. I love preview days too, so keep them coming!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I'm thinking something Christmas-y?! I know how fond you are of that season, so that's the horse I'm betting on!
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping!
I think you should definitely do sneek peeks AND projects - - it's all about the anticipation! My guess is more christimas stuff, to coordinate of course!
