I was amazed how quickly this card came together - it usually takes me ages!
More of the fabulous Andrea Victoria (My minds eye) paper from
Beverly at Precious Scraps. I can't tell you how yummy this paper is, I find it so suitable for any number of occasions, I just love it!
The background paper on this card is the grey floral stripes. I sanded around the edge before mounting it onto the black base card.
Before I did that, I had wrapped my ribbons around. The cream fibrous ribbon comes from my stash of things collected and hardly ever used but the gorgeous cream ribbon with the grey filligree design, you can get from
Beverly - it comes from the Cosmo cricket Everafter ribbon set.
The yellow tag is a die cut from the Andrea Victoria paper kit and the flowers were Heidi Swapp florals (small) ones that
Beverly also sent - I dyed one of them with a copic marker and printed some text on the other flower. I layered them with some smaller flower shapes that I punched out of more Andrea Victoria paper and used a brad to hold them together.
Sentiment (Star Prints), flourish (fancy flourishes) and text stamps (background basics Text style) are from PapertreyInk. May releases.
Beverly has just had a load of stock delivered to her store in Tennessee - pop on over and check it out
here!!
Hope it tickles!
I love what you have done to the flower and tag. You really put that classic Claire Brennan stamp onto it in more ways than one.

This is gorgeous. Another super elegant card.
ReplyDeleteThis card is simply gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI also wanted to tell you that I thought of you the other day, as my sweetheart and I sat on the couch watching the Discovery Channel. The light was on in the kitchen which was casting a glow on the hardwood floors of my dining room. That's when I saw him... it was a mouse, in my house. I have seen evidence of one being there a long while ago, but never had I SEEN a mouse. Especially not like this one. He was not afraid, and acted as if he was toying with me. I would move, and he would run and hide somewhere in the kitchen, and as soon as I settled back into the couch, here he would come again, through the casted light on the floor of the dining room, towards the darkness of the living room. Again, and Again. Finally the war began. After about another hour of being toyed with, and several different trap placements/set ups, we nabbed him. FYI: Mice really do go for the peanut butter. lol. Did you ever end up getting yours?
Wonderful card Claire.
