...Warm Winter Wishes


An Alpine Christmas card this evening, featuring that mountain range. It looks great stamped in white on any dark colour. Makes a great background image for cards given that it stretches right across the full length of a card, the card shown her is a tad over 5.5 inches long.

I teamed it up with a couple of borders from Nordic Winter , I love how these seem to fit with the mountain range so well! Then created a little 'postage stamp' for myself using a Spellbinders Postage Stamp die - I stamped my chalet on a piece of white card and trimmed it to fit inside the die cut postage stamp, the mountain range was reminding me of those 1920's travel posters and somehow a postage stamp seemed appropriate. I used words from Sewing Box Christmas to complete my card.

    I thought of those old travel posters before I even READ your post, Claire! So you completely nailed it. Wow... gorgeous... May just have to CASE this one. LOVE.
