I have a little card for you that shows you one way to use the little village from Alpine Christmas, our newest set.
It's a very simple card, but it's quite fun and is the sort of thing that you could easily mass produce.
First, I stamped the wee village scene in red - Cherry Cobbler, of course.
Then I added some trees using the tree stamp, the great thing about clear stamps is that you can see exactly where you are putting them!
I thought it would be fun to add some light to the windows, so I took a yellow copic and added some colour to the little windows and doorways. It's hard to see in the pic, but I also added some pathways between the houses, and some tiny shadows under the houses and trees using a cool grey copic marker, it looks neat in real life, like there's a wee village community visiting with each other through the snow.
I stamped the sentiment directly under the village scene and then added a few trees around it.
I stamped the background zig zag pattern ( Zig Zag Backgrounder) in Cherry cobbler, I spritzed the ink with water while it was still on the stamp, it made the chevron impression a little more mottled and textured. love this cute little scene! hope it tickles!
Wow - that looks so effective! It also looks fairly easy to replicate - which is just what you need at Christmas time!
