...WMS Pajama Party!

ED - Julie Steed - we are happy to see any type of project! thanks for asking - and you do not need to use WMS to take part!

Good evening and welcome to the first Waltzingmouse stamps Pajama Party! It's a new event that we are beginning to replace the old blog party. Our New Pajama Parties will be a great excuse for you to break out your stamps and have a little fun!

We hope to run these events once a month and during this very fist event we will be keeping an eye open for somebody special to join us as a guest Design Team member for a release later in the year.

We're going to keep the reading material short and sweet with the emphasis heavily on inspiration, but if you would like to read more background to our Pajama Party idea, click here. We may grow and add to this party as time goes on and don't forget there is a forum thread open here for the party.

Winners of Challenges 1,2 and 3 will be announced on Wednesday and the Sketch winner and future Guest DT member will be announced on the 6th August.

Here are tonight's challenges!

Challenge 1 - Tickle me silly

Above is my card for the tickle me silly challenge. In case you missed the brief - here's what to do: Make a card/project featuring Feathers. You do not have to use Waltzingmouse Stamps products to play along, but for this challenge, folks who use the new Fine Feathers or Funky feathers stamps will be eligible to win a prize in the random draw. You may use feather stamps or real feathers or embellishments. This link will remain open for 24 hours.

Challenge 3 - In the Background

Above is my card for the tickle me silly challenge. In case you missed the brief - here's what to do: Make a card/project which uses background stamping - this could be background patterns, or patterns/textures created using small stamps, stamped repeatedly. You do not have to use Waltzingmouse Stamps products to play along, but for this challenge, folks who do use Waltzingmouse stamps stamps will be eligible to win a prize in the random draw. Any WMS set may be used for this challenge so long as your project has a stamped background pattern. This link will remain open for 24 hours.

Bedtime Story

Each Pajama party will end with the Bedtime story sketch - this is a sketch challenge that we will present to you on the night of the pajama party. This is the first sketch and to help you along we have some samples from the DT ladies. You may link up your sketch entries at the end of this post and the Bedtime Story Sketch will remain open for One Week.

  3. I have a question!! (Hand waving frantically in the air) Do you only want cards or can our creative muse extend to tags, ATCs, etc.?

    Thanks. :)
