Another Wednesday, another Big Cheese!
Let's jump right in, shall we? I'm squeezing this post in between Claire's previews - I hope you don't mind!
I love the Big Cheese card for this week - so appropriate for this time of the year! Pauline Pollington created this perfect back to school note by combining Frame It and Peace and Plenty.
The bright, shiny apples.. the cardstock embossed and distressed to resemble a blackboard.. what is not to love about this delicious card? A great pick-me-up for those back to school blues, don't you think?
Pauline, your card will be added to the Big Cheese highlight album in the WMS Gallery. Send me an email and we will provide you with a discount code for $10 off (the price of a small set!!) your next Waltzingmouse Stamps purchase.
Now for some honorable mentions!
Charmaine Stack pulled out all the stops to create this beauty for the Christmas Card Challenge.
I can't even imagine how fantastic this card looks in real life! Charmaine is always sharing new and fun techniques and this is no exception. What a great way to incorporate acetate into a project.
Next up is Gerdine, with this cozy creation.
Look at all those patterns! They combine so well together and look great topped with one of the label images from Rescue Remedies. The plain black and white label really stands out against all that color.
And finally, a little extra one for you today. I loved the way Carola created her own Christmas patterned paper using a variety of images.
The bright gradient of greens looks great with the classic red. Carola has been rocking the Christmas Card Challenge, too! You ladies should be set soon with all your holiday cards, I bet!
Thank you ladies for your contributions this week. Would you like the opportunity to be chosen for the Big Cheese? Add your direct links (please!) for your newly uploaded projects here in the WMS Forum, a new thread starts every Monday!
Have a great day!
