June Friends of Waltzingmouse Stamps Waltz Review AND WINNER Announced

What a fabulous Waltz we had with so many wonderful displays of USA pride and Americana designs. After seeing all the wonderful inspiration, we want to share with you a few of the projects that we found to be extraordinary.
This card was made by Kary Lim.  She used a fun design that really hits on a bit of American history, referencing the legendary Boston Tea Party using the Afternoon Tea set.  Her fun framing using bakers twine “ties” this red, white & blue design all together.  Her fun star paper-pieced tea pot and star corner embellishment was a fun way to bring in the “stars and stripes” into her creation.  Thank you, Kary, for sharing this creation with us.
Our next pick was from Cassandra whose clean and simple design certainly caught our attention. Her Victorian Fripperie designs on her blue stars are wonderfully enticing and by framing her sentiment from the Say it Loud set, it really focuses the attention on the suggestion to “celebrate”. Cassandra is from Australia and while this isn’t her nation’s holiday, this card could easily serve as a great masculine birthday card.  You did a fabulous job Cassandra.
Moving along to DebGem’s patriotic creation.  She created a stars and strips flag design utilizing the Say it Loud, Bitty Banners and Offbeat Backgrounds to create a patriotic flag!  The faux stitching works great to create the stripes.  The fun red, white & blue banner really brings out the festive atmosphere of the project.  Great job Deb.

There were so many inspiring creations that came out of this Waltz.  If you haven’t seen them all yet, then pop on over to the forum RIGHT HERE where you can find links to ALL the red-white & blue inspiration.  Honestly – the Friends of Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog Waltz  contains more stars in it than the American flag. =)

And now for the WINNER of the June Waltz – randomly selected from all those who participated in the Friends of Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog Waltz, the winner of a free set of their choice is:
