... July? Anyone?

So, I think I've been making the peeks wayyyyy too easy! lol, have fun figuring out this one!! it's nearly time for our July release...8 new sets releasing on July 1st, here on the blog...mmmmmm!

This peek is from a small set that I just love! - I know, I know, I love them all....but that's the beauty of being a stamp designer, I get to design stamps that I like and actually want to use. So far I have been putting out stamps that have been hanging around in my head for so long, we haven't really followed the seasonal trend as such - I do have folks emailing me asking when we will do summer sets etc and we will....all in good time...I'm thinking that as time goes on we will eventually be able to release strawberries in time for july etc, but at the moment i am happy to follow the ideas in my head! lol!

The only thing you can be sure of is that Christmas will be ready at WMS...lol...we're thinking of starting those in August....you can never have enough time to get ready for Christmas.

On a personal note, many of you will know that we lost my husbands mother just over a week ago. It was unexpected and we will miss her very much. I was surprised by the well wishes and cards that arrived here at home from friends of WMS and I know Desy was very touched. Thank you all.

Inevitably, when things happen in this way, there are folks who step up to provide help and support and aside from the shock and grief, we came through this awful time even more grateful for the Big Guy upstairs for sending lovely folks our way just when we needed them most.

  1. I am very sorry about your mother in law, I know how difficult this time is for you and your family. Our youngest was born 8 days after my mother in law passed away and Ava really makes us all feel like she is still with us but it has for sure be a difficult few years.... keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers!!!

This peek looks like the bottom of my wedding dress ..... i am probably totally off base here but that would be a great set to have in WM style!!!!

  2. Good to see you back Claire (I am enclosing a huge hug for you).

I too am hoping that the new set featured will include a wedding dress as I am planning to get married again next year and desperately need some appropriate stamps for classy invitations etc.

  6. Bottom of a wedding dress is the first thing that came to mind (even before I read Sue Ann's post).

  7. Hi Claire
I'm glad you had lots of support from your friends and that your husband felt it too.
I definitely think this is a wedding dress...can't wait til 1st July. That's my daughter's birthday, so of course I will have to celebrate it by treating ME to some new stamps! xx

  8. I vote to bring the easy peeks back. hee hee. Um, at this stage it looks to me like we are going to get a small designer stamp set with a tissue or hanky theme. ;-) Perfect for those with allergies? So exciting...whatever it is!

  10. Heartfelt well wishes to you and your family Clare. I'm sorry for your loss but happy to see that you still recognize the blessings in your life. (Sometimes that can get lost in the grief...)

Not sure if the new stamp is a wedding dress or not (seems logical that your brain would go that direction with the royal festivities that just ended) but I definitely see the bottom of a dress or gown in that sneeky peek! Come on July release!! :)

  11. To be honest, at first I thought it was a paper airplane, lol! But then I realized it looked like the bottom of a dress and I sure hope it is a wedding set!! :)

I am so sorry for your loss, Claire, and reading your note about how God provides just what we need when we need it is such a great reminder for me, too! Thanks for being such an inspiration in more ways that a crafty one. Hugs!!

  12. First, I wanted to say I am glad it sounds like some of the fog is lifting from this past week for you, and I am glad for that.

Second... I see some people guessing wedding dress... I thought dress myself, but I went a different way with it, because I am surrounded by princess everything every day... ;)

  13. I appreciated your support just last year when my daughter passed away... and you are right, God does look out for us and sends people to help during times of trial and saddness. Lots of love and prayers headed your way.

As far as the tease of a sneak peek - I think it's a Princess dress! I love princesses as did my daughter and that preview looks like the bottom of a beautiful gown - and princesses wear the best gowns - so I hope I'm right! hehe! I can't wait to see what you have next!

    (((hugs)))

  14. Claire - I am so sorry for your loss. I am glad to hear about all the support you have received. May it help you get through this.

On another note, I love sneek peeks - and guessing. THis looks to me like draped fabric, so I am going to guess a table cloth - but I think the dress is an excellent guess as well.
