...'Twas the night before Christmas

Good morning and welcome to the first day of preview projects made with the new stamps due for release here on Sunday. If you're new to us, we release new clear photopolymer stamps ever month and you have just happened upon our November release preparations! This Sunday, 7th November, we're releasing 4 new stamp sets!

We've had sneak peeks for a few days and today sees the start of the projects.

The card above is my first project today and I will be posting another later on, I had a slight disagreement with my light tent last night and so I am going to take the rest of my pics in daylight!

I'd like to invite you to check out the DT ladies also today they are previewing with me! (Carly is on a little break and will return soon!)

I cannot wait for you to see what the ladies have been making!

My card features an image and sentiment from an absolute cracker of a set called 'Twas the night before Christmas... There's a wee bit of a story to this set, which I'll tell you later.

The set is based around the well known Christmas poem known by that name, or more correctly, "A visit from St Nicholas" written by C.C. Moore.

Our stamp set features a large, ok a huge stamp which is made up from the first 6 verses of the poem! Fabulous for Christmas backgrounds as you will see later...

Also in the set is a beautiful window image, built into a label shape that co-ordinates with the Spellbinders labels 14 dies!!!! I can't wait to show you!! Such a versatile little set!!

The card above showcases a scandinavian style window arch, complete with mini candles! This is the sort of thing you might see in European countries, and I love them! I have a small collection of them! My arch features reindeer and a snowflake in a clean cut graphic style, making it perfect as a stand alone image.

I have paired it with a sentiment from the set for my card above, what fun that typeface is!!!

I will be back later on with full deets for this card, I have a few snaps to show you how to create that fabby centre panel shape.

Do you like the patterned paper? it's made with a circular snowflake stamp from another new set called Around Christmastime, also due on Sunday! you'll see that in more detail later!

Hope it tickles, back soon!
