Friday, 23 July 2010's starting...!! and a shout out!

Yup, we gotta have August release a little early. I'll be taking two weeks off work to spend some time with my wee folk! DH will be off too so we'll be doing as much family stuff as we can, and hopefully even get away for a bit!

So here's the schedule! LOL

Tomorrow, 23rd July, we'll start our preview projects!! woohoo! We'll show previews each day until the 27th when we'll have our traditional Design Team blog waltz and the new sets will be available.

This will give me the opportunity to ship out as many orders as I can before I disappear on Saturday! I'll be deep in the west of Ireland for a wee while and internet will be patchy to say the least!

For this release we're having a bit of fun, we have two fun Halloween sets for you, we're getting a jump on Halloween, simply because in order to be organised for anything in my house I need to plan way ahead, if I don't, it's a mess... simple as that!

I'm not suggesting that you need to be ready for Halloween now, but I'd kinda like to be getting ready soon lol, and I hope you don't mind the early start!

So here's the vacation deets for the store: Orders taken after midday on Friday 30th July will be processed from Sunday 15th August onwards, I will resume shipping on the Monday 16th.

I have decided to let the free shipping offer (orders over £50GBP) run until I return from vacation.

Shout out!

I wanted to thank you all for your fabulous reactions to our new store. I am especially delighted with it, I think it is fab and it is only right that I take a moment to tell you all about the guy responsible.

I spent ages looking at designers and trying to get a feel for someone I thought might be able to produce the sort of site I wanted. I am delighted to have picked John Rawsterne, you can check out his talents HERE. It has to be said that John is a very talented, patient (ask me how I know) and thorough guy.

Like all the best people (!) John has roots in Ireland but lives and works in England and has produced some gorgeous web designs. WMS is, of course, the crème de la crème, the jewel in his crown ;) his Magnum Opus and I'm sure that after producing such a perfect specimen of web design he's about ready to hang up his usb cables and take really early retirement, but If you need a web designer, or know someone who does, (and you will go far, very far, before you find someone better) you might just be able to coax him out of his reverie...LOL. Did I mention he has a decent sense of humour...?

and the long awaited random winner from our little giveaway was

Blogger Shirley N who said...

"I love anything Spellbinders but my new fav is Label 14. I just discovered Waltzingmouse stamps and I think they're totally awesome!!! Congrats on your new store!"

Congratulations Shirley!! pop me an email on and we'll have a chat about your choice of goodies!!!
