...you can't miss these!

For a while now I've been thinking about having a dedicated Waltzingmouse gallery for folks to upload cards into. I'm interested in gauging whether anyone would be interested. At present, cards made with Waltzingmouse Stamps may be viewed in the Waltzingmouse Gallery here. But how many folks think to go look, I'm not sure.

Loads of us, myself included, are missing out on the many fabulous things being made by 'WMS folks' take a look at what Lynn Phelps made here and what Regina made here! I was blown away by these two ladies just today and I urge you to pop over and take a peek, you won't be disappointed!

And pop over to Bonnie's, she's a star! lol! And nip over to Anya's, Ho Ho Ho!

Now, tell me, do we need a gallery of our own, or do we just need to highlight the SCS gallery? I'm all ears!! LOL

  3. I think highlighting the SCS Waltzingmouse gallery would be the way to go as there is already a good deal of inspiration to be found there, and if you provide the link you make it easy for the unfamiliar to find it! Then linking to people's blogs as you are doing today - I love the stories behind things and the blog links are nice because you get more info than the SCS gallery. I just loved reading about how the star/dove/joy hanging was created today!

  4. I vote for a gallery on the Waltzingmouse website! I think it may be a little confusing to go to another website to view the gallery. But maybe that's just me! Thanks for asking for input. Really love your stamps. ;)

  5. Claire, I regularly stalk the company gallery section at SCS and check out the newest uploads to the Waltzingmouse Gallery there. It seems to me setting up your own gallery might require a lot of time and effort - yours - that might be better spent creating more new releases, creating samples and templates, and processing orders. :-) It does mean you should put a prominent link on your blog page or website that points to the SCS gallery to direct people there. And if you know of bloggers who use your stamps and don't upload to SCS, then you'd need to encourage them to do so. Hmmm... starting to soud like as much work as just building a gallery. Was this ANY help?

  6. I think you should defineatly have your own gallery with the site as SCS is getting too big. x

  7. I would really like WM to have a gallery of its own. Personally, I prefer to have everything in one place. Thanks for the consideration.

  9. HI Claire

I would love to see a gallery here at your own website.
Its so nice to see what other
card makers have created with your stamps!
Its also nice if there is a link to their blogs,so you can read the whole story.
(I now I would love it because thats what I also like from PTI,to look at there gallery, and every time I see something new!)

  10. I'm ALL FOR a Waltzingmouse gallery. One central location to get all the inspiration one could possibly need.

  11. I am lazy and prefer one central place connected to your store or blog.

  13. I'm in favor of a Waltzingmouse Gallery! I have no idea how much extra work this might cause for you so that would definitely be a consideration. But I love having everything on one site.

  17. I'm on the bandwagon of having a place connected with your blog. How awesome would that be? Convenient? Time saving?
    gas saving? Eco-friendly? inviting?
we just love coming to visit and want to stay awhile!!!

  18. I'm of two minds on the subject. If it's an easy to use gallery, then I'm more inclined that direction. Of course, SCS gives you exposure to new customers. Hmmm....

  19. Yes please!
I love SCS galleries but find them harder to navigate than most which I find off-putting!It'd be great to see so much inspiration in one place; although it'd mean a lot of work to set it up.

  20. Hi Claire! It was so exciting placing my very first order with you today! I think that a dedicated WMS gallery sounds perfect - I would love to see more inspiration for the stamp sets that I purchased, and a gallery with a search feature or a section highlighting individual stamp sets would be really wonderful. All the very best to you!
