...and Competition!
ED - the competition is now closed - click here to see who won!!
OOOh, I am so tired this eve!! lol we just finished putting together my daughters new bed (Ikea!) and we're frantically trying to get her room organised!
Anyhow just time to pop on and put up a few examples of how you can use
Seasons of love - Tags outside of Christmas!! (this new, clear stamp set is due for release here on the blog on the 29th, next Tuesday!!)
The scrap page above (8x8) uses the heart tag coupled with the little co-ordinating journalling lines so's you can write a little note!! I think this is so sweet - amd many thanks to my big chickie for letting me use her pic!! - It's a couple of years old and she's happy that her school buddies might not recognise her!! - I think it's lovely!! kids!!
The card below shows the heart tag made up for the other major
Season of Love - Valentines day!!!!!! there are even a couple of sentiments in the set geared towards Valentines!!! Papers from both projecs are Cosmo Cricket. Everafter I think, but don't quote me...
This little baby card features the star from
Seasons of Love - Tags and the sentiment and baby face are from the already released Say it with style available now in the store.
The spotty background is from to up coming Off Beat Backgrounds (releasing next Tue) as is the subtle stitched border - either side of the ribbon. I did stamp the ribbon with polka dots to match the background but the memento ink I used has spread throughout the ribbon, made it a rather nice pale blue...should'a used Palette...lol
Hope they tickle.
I have so much more that I wanted to show you with the Seasons of love tags but tomorrow I really need to move on to another set - there are still two you haven't even seen yet, and I'm running out of time...!!lol!!
Oh Nearly forgot!! Huge competition!!
Right - Up for grabs is the entire release!! One each of the 6 new sets releasing next Tuesday could be yours if you would like to enter this competition!!!
BUT I want you to do something for it!! lol, I want you to make a card, it's a sort of a challenge, lol!! Use your favourite stamp, any stamp, i don't care who made it, but it must be your favourite, obviously, I'll be tickled beyond belief if it happens to be one of mine!! lol
AND - use the colour green!!, lots of green, any shade! lol, of course you can use other colours as well!
Post it on your blog, or SCS, or a gallery somewhere and
leave a link here in the comments for this post
and tell me why it's your favourite stamp.
I tried to get a Mr Linky up and running but alas, it won't work for me...
Make sure you link to the exact post and not just your general blog url, it will save us all time if we don't have to go hunting for it! lol. OOh and one entry each please, so make it a goodie!! lol !
You have until Sunday night! - I will announce the winner, chosen by random number generator, on Monday.!! Quick!! run!!
I just love your pretty page with your sweet happy girl on it Claire! look at that smile!! The papers on the Valentine card are just lovely and that baby card with the 'wee' head is just adorable!
ReplyDeleteI just so happened to have posted a green card to my blog - and it has my current favorite stamp on it - 'your' wonderful Irish cottage with the peat smoke rising from the chimney - and I don't know why but I almost always use Ocean Tides with your stamps - guess it's the whole Irish thing going there.... so - here's my card for you! http://createwithjulia.blogspot.com/2009/09/good-health-to-you.html
Lovely creations!
ReplyDeleteHugs,Willy

ReplyDeletehttp://anyshadeofgreen.blogspot.com/2009/09/you-know-i-love-green.html
I've explained why it's my favourite stamp on the blog post (hope that's ok). Oh and thank you soooo much for choosing green - my favourite colour in the world x
Oh, green is my all-time favorite color (like my emerald birthstone)! IF I get a chance to make a card, I'll be back to post; darling photo of your beautiful DD; love your Valentine & wee baby cards too!!! ;-)
ReplyDeleteHow could anyone resist such an opportunity to win this awesome prize? Wow these stamps are so stunning. Love each and every set so far. Here is my entry http://pumpkinscreativepatch.blogspot.com/2009/09/my-favourite-stamp-set.html
ReplyDeleteThese tags are so versatile- an essential in the craft box. Love the scrapbook page, your daughter has such a happy, infectious smile.
ReplyDeleteThe baby card is something else.
Hi Claire! Your creations are lovely, as always. My contest entry uses a dandelion image and it is my favorite stamp because it reminds me of my little boy, who loves to pick dandelions. We moved to the city, so there are few opportunities to go flower picking, so this stamp is extra special to me now! Thanks for the opportunity to win your amazing new release, and congrats!
ReplyDeleteHaving some trouble with my blog, so here is my card on SCS:
Kiwi Meets Black
and in case the link doesn't work, here it is:

Claire,
ReplyDeletethis is my entry for the competition:
http://italianinspirations.blogspot.com/2009/09/walzing-mouse-stamps-challenge.html
I love background stamps and the background stamp in the Very Vintage Christmas set is SO beautiful. I can't wait to order the background set that you are about to release.
Hi Claire - well, I had to enter this one, my first EVER card competition ! Here is my post: http://me35.wordpress.com/2009/09/26/oooh-oooh-watch-me-enter-my-first-competition/
ReplyDeleteand the reason why I used this set is because I think it'll be quite versatile (which is precisely why I bought your Earth Angel set too!) I REALLY want to win this as I have love each and every sneaky peek so far, and that never happens. Girl, you are my kinda designer!! xx
I just love your Seasons of Love stamps set. This is so exciting because I love vintage and Spellbinders. This will be a perfect must have set. Connie NH
ReplyDeleteI am loving the sneak peaks and your new stamp sets are fabulous. For 11 years I was a SU customer and no other company caught my eye. Of course, I hadn't discoverd the wide array of companies available on the internet. Then I stumbled onto PTI and fell in love with their stamps so a second favorite was added to my list. I can't remember how I found your blog but I followed it weekly and was thrilled when you started your stamp line. I now have another favorite-- Claire's creations. This latest round of sets are my favorites and I can't wait to see them in their entirety. My favorite stamp is usually the one that I am working with at the moment. You would think that after stamping 50 Christmas cards and more to come I would be sick of this stamp set, however, I just love the swirl of the tree and the font of the "Season's Greetings" saying. I stamped in a pretty shade of green--old olive-- and added a ribbon for a bit of color. I can't wait to create some Christmas things with your lovely sets. Thank you for the opportunity to win such an amazing prize. It would be like receiving a wonderful Christmas gift early.
ReplyDeleteHere is the link to my card. I've never done this before so I hope it works.

ReplyDeleteHere is my card....http://moejoedesigns.blogspot.com/2009/09/hb-friend.html
Thanks again for a chance to play and for the opportunity to win some of your uber yummy stmaps!
Many Blessings!
Oh, I love all your new sets--can't wait to see all the stamps!
ReplyDeleteHere's my contribution, using my current favorite set (only because I don't yet have any of yours--working on it!).
The reason I like this set is the same reason I like all your sets: simple, clean lines with a hint of quirkiness, lots of versatility for coloring and flexible enough to use for many different purposes.

Thanks for the green challenge, as well! I kinda like how it turned out (better in real life than in the photo).
I am SO EXCITED for this release. I absolutely LOVE everything you produce and just wish I could afford it all. If I win it would be the cherry on the topping of the cake!
ReplyDeleteHere is my card http://1hipchickcreations.blogspot.com/2009/09/favortie-stamp-set.html
hmmmm, I was going to play along, but I'm not sure I can get a good picture and post by YOUR Sunday night---I must try, though---what an AMAZING prize~~I do love your style--I'll quit typing and go start creating!! :)
ReplyDeleteYour Irish Cottage is one of my favorites. I had planned on making a card with "Say It With Style" but my silly thumb gave out on me. So here is my entry http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_5XUqVFTQ014/SnXuhR6syZI/AAAAAAAAAUY/WaxBrzboPzM/s1600-h/CeltCottage.JPG
ReplyDeleteOkay, Claire -- I'm back with my GREEN card:
ReplyDeletehttp://maricopastamper.blogspot.com/2009/09/green-tea-time.html
I LOVE PTI's Tea for Two stamps (chose this particular pot for the GREEN leaves and matching paper!) because they're clean & simple, which just means to me they're fabulous! Though I've not been able to purchase any of your awesome stamps yet, they echo that clean, simple & yet fabulous style allowing you to keep it simple or really dress it up, depending on what you want your card to evoke!
Hi Claire!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on what appears to be another fabulous and successful stamp release. I am in love with your images and wait with baited breath for the 29th to add the new ones to my collection.
I created this card the day you announced your contest, and for the moment this is my favorite stamp - although I love yours to. To force me to choose just one is a cruel thing to ask - hahaha. But because I'm feeling the changes of the seasons and loving the crispness in the air here in the Pacific Northwest, fall images are dear to my heart. For now . . . . So, here is my card for your challenge. I'll borrow one of your favorite sayings - one that I just think is so darling - "Hope it tickles!!" Thanks for the chance to win one of the new releases!
http://karolyns-paperkraft.blogspot.com/2009/09/give-thanks.html
Hugs!
Hello! First off, can I just say these stamps you design are awesome! Just stumbled across this blog a few days ago from a link from a friend. I'll definitely be following now.
ReplyDeleteJust got my green card up. You can find it here: http://lalybi.blogspot.com/2009/09/im-seeing-green.html
The stamps for the launch on Tuesday look great! :)
Really really looking forward to the release Claire! Here's my card - hope there's enough green....
ReplyDeletehttp://lovemakingthings.blogspot.com/2009/09/claires-huge-competition-favourite.html
Love this stamp as I can make it fit so many occasions, family members/friends and ages. And a little hint of happy days long ago.
okay Claire, it took me some days, but I hope I am not late!! ... My favourite company in the moment is PTI, actually it was you, who introduced them to me.... and I can see by now, it was more your style and I feel, it might be soon replaced by your sets....my first one is soon on the way too me!
ReplyDeleteHope you like my green agenda... with some green pages, ...now wish me luck, I would love to get one of your sets in my hands!
*dooh*... soory,I forgot the link, here it comes...
ReplyDeleteMY GREEN AGENDA
Oh what an amazing competition and I nearly missed it! I have had no internet for the last couple of days, when I saw your competition I just had to get my card made, the kids can eat later lol.
ReplyDeleteSo here is my card I hope you like it. Donna x

Here's my take on the current green challenge, and I've got my fingers crossed - I'm LOVIN' your stamp sets and can't wait to see what your DT does with the new release!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited about your release--the sets look wonderful! I made a new card specifically for your challenge, but a quick scroll through my SCS gallery will show you how much I love green, especially green and white! My all-time favorite stamp is a large mum stamp, which I like because it is a flower, it is a solid stamp, and it is BIG (it seems so hard to find large-scale stamps).
ReplyDeleteHere is the link to my card:

Thanks for the chance to win, and good luck with your official new store!
Hi Claire!!! Can't wait for the new release and to meet the design team. You are simply doing a wonderful job with your company. Here is my card...

I included all the info in the description. Thanks for the opportunity :) .
Claire
ReplyDeleteI couldn't resist trying your challenge...One of my favourite sets is by Rubber Stamp Tapestry. You can create a picture - unique everytime and NEVER go wrong from a small handful of very simple images. This is what I used for my green card challenge.
Here's my card at Splitcoast stampers:
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1492062?&cat=500&ppuser=136456
Thanks for the opportunity for winning your new sets... can't wait to see them in full!!
Happy crafting...Clairee x x x
I am absolutely in love with these sneak peeks. I can hardly wait til release day.
ReplyDeleteI made a tri fold card. Here's the link to my green card:
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1492092?&cat=500&ppuser=118171
I love the cottage image from your set. One of my dreams is to have a cottage like that, preferably in Ireland right on the coast. I remember my trip there and it was one of the best I've had. Just love the scenery and the people are just wonderful.
Thanks for the chance to win.
I hope this card is green enough to be eligible lol. It uses one of you sets. I am actually pretty crazy by the Irish themed cards, because it is so easy peasy to make masculine cards with it.
ReplyDeleteNow I start to think of it, I does look a bit like one of the cards you posted on your blog. Oops :P Luckily, it is not too much alike ;-)
Hope you like it and thank you for the chance to win!

The page you made is just precious! Love your samples and this release looks awesome...I would love to win and wish I could have used some of your stamps on my card, but eeeks, I don't have any yet. You are doing just a beautiful job illustrating and I am enjoying seeing your creativity. Best wishes to you and here is my card for the challenge:
ReplyDeletehttp://stampawaytheday.blogspot.com/2009/09/i-just-love-trees-in-tree-silhouettes.html
I have so many favorites that I have a hard time narrowing it down. So I used two favorites: the SU background Linen and Tree Silhouettes. I love the tall tree in the set and used it as my focal images. Thanks for the chance to win....I am a fan and love your designs!
Well, I may be posting this too late but have had terrible issues with my blog! This is still all so new to me! Claire, I have just loved your samples--your new sets look absolutely wonderful. Can't wait to see them all! Hope everything goes smoothly for you......
ReplyDeleteBack again. Don't know if I'm in time for this competition but here's the link to my card-
ReplyDeletecowtowncrafts.blogspot.com/2009/09/sarah-kay-memories.html
Oh Claire, I'm so excited to see everything. I hope I can squeak in in the nick of time with my card. I used PTI's Friends 'Til the End. I just love those big flowers and the font is perfect. I really don't mind cutting them out, but I haven't tried copics with them. Too scared.
ReplyDeletehttp://insteadoflaundry.blogspot.com/2009/09/favorite-stamp-set.html
Better late than never Claire; Here’s my entry
ReplyDeleteI just love, love, love this ornate heart from your Celtic Heritage set. I know there's not much green here, but it is my favourite stamp and my favourite card of all time. So I said I'd chance my arm and enter it anyway!!!
I made it!! I can't say that I have a favorite stamp, it is sorta the one that I am using at the time! My craft room is in a shambles, so I grabbed what was close at hand, my most recent PTI order!!
ReplyDeletehttp://www.flickr.com/photos/euler357/3959472939/
It is not all green, but there is a good bit of green!!
I love what you have shown us of the stamps so far...well done you! I love that they coordinate with the Nesties and am looking forward to seeing the rest! Oh, and here is my very humble card!
ReplyDeletehttp://karin-withaniforpaper.blogspot.com/2009/09/kind-daisy.html#comments
Wheeewwww... here's my card. Hope you all enjoy it!
ReplyDeletehttp://kraftyobsessions.blogspot.com/2009/09/waltzing-mouse-challenge.html
I love the stamp set I used because it's girly, a bit classic, a bit modern, and very versatile. I am also a sucker for birds and flowers.
Hugs!
Thanks for a chance to win Claire! What a fun challenge!
