...Aug 09 Release Day 5 Say it with Style

If you are new here - I'll be launching 4 new clear stampsets on Sunday!! All this week I've been showing samples, and I'm not done yet!!!! You might like to check out my store to get an idea of shipping/prices etc. Thanks for looking.

I admire simple elegance and good taste, qualities that are sadly lacking in my wardrobe department! lol. However, I love to make elegant cards and the next stampset I want to show you helps me do just that. It is called Say it with Style and it features many useful sentiments set in a most beautifully flourished font.

All of the sentiments in the set can fit inside the little simple scroll frame that I designed to work with a gorgeous spellbinders Labels Four die (Third from biggest) I am crazy about this die and I love to use it. The sentiments also look fabulous on their own and you don't need the die - the frame can be cut out as a rectangle too - more on that later.

These cards show just how easy it is to make simple elegant cards to say just what you want. I love the My Apologies sentiment - I think it hits just the right note. I simply layered the sentiment over a strip of patterned paper and some ribbons. Bit of stitching and sponging to finish.

Above - I used the little square XO (kiss hug) stamp to make a mosaic background upon which I placed my 'I love you' sentiment, complete with frame.

A fun image in this set is the petite quill image - perfect for those 'Just a note' cards that I always seem to need but never have - until now. These mini cards are 3x3 inches and take moments to create.

There is also a fabulous scroll border stamp in the set - love how it rolls down the page, great for making backgrounds - I stamped it here 3 times to make a patterned background on one side of the card. Then added a framed 'Thank you' sentiment, few pearls, ribbon, done.

Hope they tickle - hopefully be back later with more!

  1. Elegant is the perfect adjective to describe these designs. I can't wait to see more. So glad you chose a design to go with Labels 4-I actually own that set. Knowing I can't purchase all these new sets at once, I've some tough decisions to make.
