...Gina K Designs – StampTV Kit Inspiration Blog Hop – Day 1

The Cast and Crew for Gina K Designs welcomes you to another fabulous blog hop celebrating the new StampTV Kit! We hope to inspire you with some beautiful card projects as you hop along to each of the designer’s blogs!

Today, we are featuring the first stamp set called Bold and Blooming. I particularly love the strong graphic style of these stamps and I didn't hold back with colour while using them for my card today! I stamped in Memento Black and then had a bit of a colour fest to myself with a hot cuppa.

The card stock in this kit are super rich and I used the Black, the White and the Red Hot. I've made a quick video for this card and you can see it here:

This set is part of the newest stamp TV kit which you can see below:

This month, please welcome Carolyn King as a special guest designer to our blog hop! You may remember that Carolyn has been a member of our team in the past so we are all very excited that she is joining us in March to showcase her talents once again! Also, please welcome our new team member Rema DeLeeuw. Rema has a fun and clean style and loves to work in watercolors and ink blending. You will instantly fall in love with her projects!

Enjoy the gorgeous inspiration samples from the team and then comment on each blog for your chance to win a $20 Gina K Designs gift certificate! To see who won, check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop. Ready for some inspiration? Here are a few of the projects I have created for today’s hop:

  53. Thank you for this video! What I still wonder is: how did you judge where to stamp perpendicular to the first stamp to get a suitable size of square in the middle?
And HOW do you stamp so well and perfectly-aligned, freehand? You must have a bionic eye!!

    1. Keeral, thanks for popping in! The answer is I tried it a couple of times on scrap paper before I began. The first attempt was too big so I moved the stamp until I knoew where worked best and then I began stamping on proper card. tfa! It's not exactly perfect, it is a little off, but there's so much going on in the stamp that it doesn't need to be completely perfect for this arrangement, so long as the black bar overlaps, it should be good :)

    2. Thank you so much for explaining, Claire! Yes, the more I see done with this stamp, the more that black bar is proving itself to be a very design-friendly feature. :-)
