Today, we are featuring the stamp set called Happy Spring

My card above uses the lineart images of the 4 stemmed flowers, I partially die cut the 4 flowers from my black card front and then stamped the images on top. I pulled them forward a little so that they kind of 'spring' away from the card base and then I popped four pieces of coloured card stock in behind them. All of the colours, including the black, are cards available in the Bold and blooming Stamp TV kit that you can see below. I stamped the sentiment on an eons old chalk arrow that was just lying around waiting for today. I used Gina K White ink, it's really good on dark backgrounds !

My second card today uses patterned paper from the kit also, I used the black and white chevron, which I love on it's own, but for this project I coloured in between the lines with copics to give me a bright background for this cute little birdie! He makes me smile.

The balloon shape is just the right size for several of the sentiments in this set! love it when that works! The clouds were stamped in Gina K white and I added them to break up that expanse of black on my card front, they also help to reinforce the message "you make me happy...when skies are grey' (last bit is on the inside!)

Just before I go, and on the off chance that you liked yesterdays card and wanted to see how it was made I made a little 3 min video, which you can see on youtube at this link. Ta for watching.

OK off you pop and see what the rest of the DT has been up to! - Enjoy the gorgeous inspiration samples from the team and then comment on each blog for your chance to win a $20 Gina K Designs gift certificate! To see who won, check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hop.
