OK, remember back when you first started stamping - what was it that hooked you? For me it was the moment I lifted the stamp away from the cardstock, leaving that lovely sharp, clean image behind - the fact that I could do that over and over again nearly blew my little mind - they do say little amuses the innocent lol. I love that. I love stamping. Stamping is my favourite!

The first set I drew - do you remember - it was the gingerbreads - I was, and still am in love with sets. Sets of stamps that work together, sets of stamps that I can combine with different colours - I love the idea of getting unlimited variations using the same set - I love that I can still pick up the gingerbreads for example and create something entirely different to what I made with them last year, or the year before. I love timeless stamps. I love stamps that don't date quickly - I love sets that can be mixed with other sets. Did I ever tell you I love Christmas? All of that was in my head when I was drawing these Elves.

Jolly Old Elf - Santa - Elf...mmmmm elves...garden..... This set contains a figure of a Jolly Old Elf, but he is not limited to being Santa, he could also be your favourite garden gnome... There are a whopping 36 stamps in this set. You can either stamp just one image or you can combine lots of stamps - I cannot wait to show you this set.

For my card this evening, I used the Elf figure with his satchel full of candy canes - from his eyes down - he is all one piece - so he is easily stamped. Lots of detail in this stamp - his little stitched bag, his quilted waistcoat, stripey pantaloons, right down to his little turnover boots - I love this! There are 3 different hats stamps in the set and I chose the 'relaxed Santa' hat with the mistletoe - there are also a traditional Santa hat and a cone shaped gnome hat stamp. I stamped him in green to tone with my patterned paper.

Do you like his wee flocky beard? A little glue and some white flock. I sooo want to know what you think of this guy! :) So hope he tickles!

I used the Picot Panel die to place my sentiment on - the USA DT ladies got their lovely new Pretty Panel dies and us Euro ladies are a little jealous - ours have not arrived yet...fingers crossed for tomorrow... :)
