Meredith is hosting a Christmas challenge on her
Festive Friday blog, if you have not been over, you can visit by
clicking here.
She kindly invited me to take part and I made up this little card for it. I like elements of this card, but I'm thinking I really could have done with a little sprig of pine or something just to pop in behind the main image to the right.
I do like the background - I used
Little lanterns to create a tone on tone lantern pattern - I used clear embossing powders for this and I added just the teensiest amount of glow ith a little cream ink.
The focal point is from
Seasonal Remedies and I just added a little ribbon to tie in with the copic colours I used on that.
Hope it tickles, I'm still squinting at it thinking I might tweak it just a little.....
ClAire this is gorgeous, now I need to get that lantern that I have put off for too long.
