May Blog Party Recap–Teacher Appreciation

Hello bloggers! The third week of May finds many busy mom’s preparing for the end of the school year and many teachers breathing a sigh of relief.  Our recent Blog Party brought out the best in Teacher Appreciation with the creative designs from the participants. Here are a few...

Clair A combined a mix of patterned papers that really captures the classroom feel. Her chalkboard is reminiscent of those days when I had to write out sentences as punishment for bad behavior!

Her text is from the Frame-It set. Claire drew her apples, but used the small leaf from the Folk Art Medallion set. Great job Claire!

Rebecca Ednie created a sentimental card with a distressed feel with her paint splatters. Her sentiment is from the Say It Loud set. I love her use of sequins and the lighthearted butterfly she used as her embellishment.

Our final card we want to showcase is one from Lori Tecler. She used the chalkboard technique on her card as well and I love the detail of this card and the way she mitered the corners of the frame of her chalkboard. She use some fun ruler washi tape and an iconic apple to embellish her card.  Lori used a sentiment from the Sweethearts set. This sentiment is one that most likely will fill the heart of the teach who receives it with pride.

Thank you all for participating, even during these busy weeks as the school year comes to an end, we appreciate YOU for your time, your creativity and your support of Waltzingmouse Stamps.

  1. Thanks for choosing my card. Several times I almost scrapped it or parts of it. I'm glad I kept on working on it! I'm sure DS#2's teacher will like it!
