I don't know about you but for me, September went by in a blur! October is here and the wind is getting up, the leaves are falling and I seem to have bypassed Halloween, jumping straight into Christmas preparations!!!
I must admit, every year, I like to get a little start on Christmas in September/October and then I feel like I can relax and enjoy Halloween, knowing that part of Christmas at least is already under my belt!
Later this month I hope to bring you a round up of some of our best ideas for Halloween, but over the next couple of days I wanted to post a few peeks of what is coming up in our October release.
Yep, I know, technically speaking we shouldn't even be having an October release, but I shuffled the months as I have no fewer than 6 Christmas sets ready to go and, if you are anything like me, you need to start early to stand any chance of getting cards and gifts made in time!
November will be the month the DT showcases Christmas ideas and hopefully by then we'll all be well on the way to having some fabby stuff made for the holidays.
So we're aiming for an October 15th release, with peeks and samples before then.
Today's peek is of a set that could be described as a sister set to one of our most popular sets ever, Rescue Remedies...lots of typographic detailing, love this set.....
Just put all 6 sets in an envelope and send them to me. It's futile to resist your sets. WOW, what a great peek!
ReplyDelete:-D
ReplyDeleteSounds awesome! I can't wait to see it!
ReplyDeleteWell I am loving this already, details details details!
ReplyDeleteClaire, Sounds GREAT! New releases are always welcome and I will use any excuse to get them early! Looking forward to seeing what you've come up with - a sneaky peaky is NEVER ENOUGH!!

ReplyDeleteAn October release?? What a delightful surprise!! The peek looks fabulous. Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteOh Claire I am liking my sneaky peeky so far!!! I am already working on both halloween and xmas stuff... woo hoo... the holidays are beginning! I am so anxious to see the rest of the peeks......
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful Claire!!!
ReplyDeletePS: I see that you are carrying the Spellbinders labels 21 in the store: do you have any plans for a set to go with it? I LOVE that set and would love something to go with it (hint, hint!!) Have a great weekend!! Hugs :-)
ReplyDeleteIt was a card I saw made with Rescue Remedies that introduced me to Waltzingmouse Stamps. Very excited to see what this set has in store for us!
ReplyDeleteOk, sorry that I'm being a pest today, but I have another question for you: What brand of ink pad and what kind of embossing powder do you use for your white embossing? Yours always looks so crisp and clean and solid (as in it hasn't broken up and created breaks in the lines), and I seem to always have problems with mine. Thanks for any tips :-) Hugs from Helen
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what you come up in the way of Christmas. I mean you can't have tooooooooooooo many Christmas stamps I say!!!!
ReplyDeleteSix Christmas sets?! Eeep! Can't wait to see them!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more about getting a jump on things!
ReplyDeleteIts great that new designs are on the way! My christmas list will just have to get a little longer!
ReplyDeleteThe peek is beautiful!. Just when I think I've finally decided on what I want to do for my Christmas cards you come out with another fab creation. I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer to settle on my card design...
ReplyDeleteOh Claire - that looks lovely! You are a tease!
ReplyDeleteGreat peek! I hope one of the new sets goes with this year's Spellbinders ornament dies. :)
ReplyDeleteOeh, Claire! You make me happy! I didn't expect any more release for christmas from you, but now you say six sets!! Oeh, oeh, oeh, is it the 15th already?!! :-D
ReplyDeleteHugs, Wendy
