Tomorrow we will be releasing our two new Halloween stamp sets,
Wanda's Pantry and
Midnight Feast! Both are clear photopolymer stamp sets and both are 8 by 6 inch sets, chock full of stamps designed to help you create Halloween cards, beautifully decorated gifts and even decorative items for your Halloween party!
Today is the last day of previews so you might like to check out what the DT ladies have made! Here they are:
Lisa,
Julia,
Lynn,
Anya,
Belinda,
Mona,
Jennifer,
Laurie.
My first sample today uses the large Vampire blood label (
Wanda's Pantry)! lol. This old glass jar has been lying around in the garage for years! originally it had a lovely glass stopper and carried bubble bath! I couldn't bear to dump it and it'll sit on my shelf this year to help set the scene for Halloween! It's filled with water and a good drop of red food colouring.
I could also use this label on a bottle of red cherry lemonade, or a bottle of red wine.
This is probably the simplest way to use these labels, simply stamp them in black, I used versafine as it is great for the very fine detail in the wreath, and I couldn't resist clear embossing. The label was cut out using a co-ordinating Spellbinders Label die template (the largest in the small labels set) and the edges are simply sponged in antique linen distress ink. Done! all you gotta do now is stick it to the bottle! You could treat all of the labels this way and they'd look very authentic.
I added a red 'bloody' thumbprint with versacolour burgundy ink, lol.
I wanted to make favours for my Halloween party table. I needed something quick, I always need something quick! lol. So I used my Sweetie Pouch Template. If you don't have it you can get it free from the freebies section of the store
HERE.
I had a ball dressing mine up in different ways. These are so simple and with all of the little names and phrases in the
Midnight Feast set and indeed
Wanda's Pantry you won't be short of a description for whatever goodies you want to fill them with!
I cut my templates from black card which I ran through the cuttle bug with a few embossing folders. The template is long so you'll have to run them through twice and you might get an overlap of pattern but it's grand as it's on the back.
I cut out liners also using the template but leaving off the bottom and flaps. I stamped the liners with various motifs from Midnight Feast.
I used the Boo tag from Midnight Feast, behind the Trick or Treat tag below. (Cut with Spellbinders fancy tags)
Hope they tickle!!
no way!!!
