...yesterday's today!!

Feel like I lost a day - i put the wee folk to bed last night at 7.30 and slept right through!! AAAArrrgghh! missed a whole nights crafting!

Anyhow - here's yesterdays card - I'm writing up a quick tutorial - a couple of you folks also have this quilt stencil - or something like it and there's a couple of interesting things to do, more later today hopefully.

I used Quilters sampler stamp set (PapertreyInk) for the Background - printed a tiny block in versamark on the sweet blush cardstock. Also a piece of bitty dots paper (also PTI) on the bottom. Couple of wee flowers. (Prima)

Also - do you like the sentiment tag - it's actually an escutcheon shape from a keyhole and escutcheon punch that i bought at the craft fair - I put a rectangle of cream card (PTI) on it and added two pink eyelets - thought it made a dinky wee tag!

Hope it tickles!

  8. Wow! What a suprise when I checked your blog today. Country Stencils are located in Knoxville, Tennessee, where I live. In fact, I first ran across these last November at Christmas show. A daughter and mother sell these. The daughter was managing the booth at the show. Julie and I had a lovely conversation, and I bought a few stencils, paint and the stylus. A month later I attended a class she taught at a LSS. I was just getting back into some crafting. Well, things have blossomed from there; I got interested in stamping, discovered PTI, etc. What began for me with a few stencils has led to a lovely creative outlet. I am so happy to see your lovely creations, and I am going to have to head to my LSS to purchase a few more stencils and try your technique. Thanks for sharing your expertise. Cammie Oh, I just noticed that Julie has left a comment.

  11. Oh, my! This is gorgeous! Well, I'm a quilter and am so in love with this card. Well, I thought about some of my unused (I'm stamping these days and rarely quilting unfortunately) quilting supplies and seemed to recall some stencils I purchased about ten years ago at the International Quilt Festival in Houston. I have this stencil! Yay! Thanks for this gorgeous card...I love it...and thanks for your tutorial! CherylQuilts at SCS
