Broke open the Grow Paper Kit (My Minds Eye) that
Beverly of
Precious Scraps sent me - yummy!! drop her an email if you would like some.
It's the ideal paper pack for a Mothers day treat, lots of floral die cuts etc - all the flowers you see in this post, except one, are pre cut in the kit. Finished the flowers with a couple of wee buttons, also from
Bev. Paired it up with a little Ripe Avocado cardstock from PTI for a liner, footer and card base.
I couldn't resist another wee basket - this is my Octagonal one, a bit more involved than the simple one I posted a few days ago, this is the one you give to someone who will keep it, at least for a while!! Like your Mum.
Perfect wee basket for Easter, or Mothers day - you can get plenty of wee sweets in it.
Incidentally - it's Mothers Day here today! You folks in the States have a wee while longer, and since I love to draw templates...
Hope it tickles.
What an great present. Really nice colors. I like it!!!

ReplyDeleteHi Claire! I've finally had a moment to myself to catch up on some blog surfing, and had 9 unread posts in my Google Reader from you alone! I've taken a leisurely and lovely stroll through all of those, and I've enjoyed everything so much! You certainly have done the Precious Scraps projects justice... so pretty and colorful and different. You are a whiz at basket making, that's for sure! And, of course, I LOVE the PTI cards. I have been so busy, I've barely had time to ink up my new ones. You have inspired me! Hopefully I'll get to stamp more soon.
ReplyDeleteLots of hugs and smiles to you,
Lisa
LOVE this project you did, it is beautiful :)! Hoping you will also draw up a template that you can share with us :).

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful basket. Love your tutorials. You live in Ireland... oh... we love Ireland and in the next week we are in holiday in the near of the Lough Mask :)
ReplyDeleteClaire, I so enjoyed your blog this morning--the tutorials and the things you make are so wonderful. I especially enjoyed the pics of Ireland--I was there in 2000 and unfortunately not in the beautiful part of the country you photographed. I think the closest we may have been was Londonderry and Giant's causeway. I will have to return and see this part of your beautiful country.
ReplyDeleteYes, I was able to download them, both from your site and SCS. Thank you, they are both very nice.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful baskets! You are a creative genius! Thanks for giving this gal a crafting buzz!LOL!
