ED -- JUST BACK IN STOCK Vintage Labels 4, in the store now.
I'm very much on top of orders...but little else! if you ordered before 9.30am my time this morning, your order has shipped already, I'm not so on top of shipping notices, My priority is always to get the orders out and worry about paperwork after, I apologise if you are waiting on a shipping notice, your stuff is well on the way and there's every chance that you will get your goods before you see a shipping notice!
I am so delighted by the response to this release, thank you all so very much for all of the kind comments and lovely remarks. I'm snuggling up with hot chocolate and much paracetamol trying to stave off the cold that has ravaged everyone else in my house, and my mind is working overtime on ideas!!
So, here's what i'd love to do. I'm going to run a wee competition. If you 'find' anything in your house that has been made with the secret set, snap a photo and hold on to it. After Christmas I will hopefully have a gallery where folks can upload pics or maybe we'll use SCS, that can be determined later, but I will ask folks to upload these pics and there will be a fabulous prize for some lucky participant!! Sound like fun??
Also wanted to ask, Is it driving you all crazy that my releases kind of float? I was wondering about pinning it down to a particular date each month, do we like this? and what date is good for you? pop a comment here if you have an opinion on this, many thanks.
I'm easy with the release date, I'll just go with the flow :) - not much help am I LOL!
ReplyDeleteI do not always know what day it is, so I am not attached to any certain date!!
ReplyDeleteJust the other day, I was thinking how much work you are doing all by yourself, and I am amazed, so I am fine with whatever release date you choose!!
Feel better soon! I dont care about release dates as long as you keep releasing. I stalk you so I dont miss anything. LOL
ReplyDeleteHello Claire,
ReplyDeleteI just placed my first order with your company yesterday, and am looking forward to receiving my stamps. I am easy going with release dates - whatever is most convenient for you. Hope you stave off that cold!
Hi Claire, you must be exausted!!!.
ReplyDeleteAs for the release DATE!!!. As the old saying goes "if it's not broke
don't fix it!! lol. Put seriously Claire, I can spend money anytime LOL. Whatever works for you.
Cheers
Bonnie H.
Hi Claire, try to rest and get to feeling better. I don't care about release dates either. Actually kind of fun to be surprised! No way I could miss it as often as I check your blog! By the way, just received my shipping notice.....
ReplyDeleteWhatever is easiest for you Claire... we'll be ready when you are. However, if you decide you want to make it a regular date, then I suggest the first of the month (or near abouts) because that's when most folks get paid... and before lots of other releases in terms of competition for stamping money. That's the business minded me!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Get some rest... I think you've worn yourself out and made yourself vulnerable to the bug.
ReplyDeleteThe surprise element of your releases is one of the most endearing and exciting qualities, I think. Although I visit with you daily (yes, that tall blonde bump on the log in the corner of your kitchen is me-lol), I admit I love wondering if 'maybe today' you'll tease me with release news. Like a small child, I am, just tickled with wonder! :-D
ReplyDeletePace yourself, though. You won't have much fun if you're run down.
Claire, you are doing a great job! I can't believe how hard you are working! Your success is well deserved. On release day I placed my third order, I love your style. For me, it's enough to know a few days in advance when you are releasing the stamps. I check your blog everyday ;)
ReplyDeleteHi Claire, guess we are all stalking you, so we will know whenever you do a release LOL
ReplyDeleteJust a selfish thought, keep away from PTI realises, so I do not have to make a decision - you or them.
I finally got the stamps -I won with you- all the way to Egypt and I am playing with them - they are gorgeous! thanks so much again and please come have a look at my blog, I would be happy about a comment from you. Thanks
Whilst I found the floating release this time 'different' I fully agree with katrynka given that you are doing so much on your own I really don't have a problem apart from the curiosity angle! And I can get over that...glad my second secret set is on it's way - I can now play with the first one. Quite honestly I do not know how you are coping girl....you need help...and that costs....if you move to Cookstown I'll gladly help for free!!!! And we must also say grateful thanks to your DH for all his support to you..take care of yourself, please, we NEED you to be well.
ReplyDeleteWhat about the 1st of the month for a release date? I think it might be a good idea to have a release date that is different to other companies so that it doesn't clash.

Here's what I have to say about the "floating" dates---you are a busy mom--do whatever date suits you---we always have plenty of notice with your projects leading up to them---I really think you make it easy on yourself for now---maybe in a year, set a hard date--
ReplyDeleteHi there!
ReplyDeleteI ordered the 'secret' set and was stunned at how quickly it arrived! It's my first set from you and I was really impressed! It is a fantastic set too, I will be using it to help a certain someone send some pre-Christmas letters all the way from his workshop, to raise money for Children In Need. It's perfect!
I hope you feel better soon x

Ohhh . . . that sounds like a hoot!! I'm in!!
ReplyDeleteOh, and about the specific date each month - that would be nice, but it doesn't matter to me - I kind of like that you don't release until you have the stamps in your hand so that we know when we order, our stuff is on it's way shortly thereafter. There's nothing more annoying to me than to order something to later find out . . . oops, it didn't arrive yet!! I would imagine that your shipment arrival may fluctuate each month, so I wonder if it would be more difficult to stick to a set date. Just thinkin' . . . .
ReplyDeleteI love how many projects that you make! Way more than PTI. I both like and dislike the 'float' idea. I dont like that you dont know that a release is upon you until its announced. It often takes my by surprise. Perhaps it would be better if you selected a day at the start of release projects and then write it in big letters, lol, and then i might actually remember it! I like the float idea because, blogland has its quiet periods and busy weeks and your releases often fill in the quiet times. so its good that way. so anyway that was my two cents worth....
ReplyDeleteI don't mind the floating release date. I think it's fine if you release sets as you get them prepared and feel ready as opposed to having to meet a deadline every month. Don't get me wrong, the suspense this month drove me just about crazy but it was fun waiting! :)
