- I am torn between Halloween party and very vintage christmas!! I am eager to see all the stamps for each set.
Maybe I'll win this time... I was ALL excited yesterday.... as my name is Lee... but then I realized that it was not what I wrote, and that I actually come up as Katrynka, cause that is my google account name!
Hello and welcome to the final day of samples before release tomorrow (Sunday) when I will open the selling on the 4 new clear stampsets I've been showing samples of all week! Today's competition question is at the bottom of the post!!
I will be closing the online store this evening to update the products, it will re-open again tomorrow morning for the release!!
Today I have a really dinky wee set to show you. It started of life as a little doodle I did of my biggest daughter, she's my wee angel!! It expanded into a stampset featuring a little girl figure that can be customized using various accessories.
She can be an angel - there are FOUR sets of wings in TWO sizes! She can be a flower girl or bridesmaid - there's a floral garland that she can hold. She can sow seeds of love and friendship from her little seed bag or pocket or she can be a little girl skipping happily - she has a skipping rope too!!
The card above show's her with two tiny wings and the floral garland. She has a tiny bow in her hair that you can colour to match her outfit!!
She's happy in spring, summer, winter or fall and she is ideal for colouring in and paper piecing. The wings are very detailed and although I coloured all my samples with copics without any problem I could see that certain wings will suit the sharp point of a colouring pencil.
There are so many possibilities and, as with all of the sets I've previewed this week, I feel like I have just scratched the surface, I can't wait to see what other folks do with this!!
In this card she's a christmas angel, with paperpieced red dress (pattern and sentiment stamped with the border stamp in the new Very Vintage Christmas set also releasing tomorrow) I used a pair of larger wings, a sort of paper doily design with a stitched heart at the centre. I drew a short pencil line through her hand and stuck a start shaped shiny bling thing at the end of it for a wand!
This is going to be a fab set to make encouragemet cards for my girls with - In the card above I made her skip by arranging the skipping rope border stamp into a curve, making sure the handles were going to match up with her hands. It leaves a nice area to stamp a sentiment in. Did you notice how I changed her dress? There's a handy wee stamp that allows you to change her plain dress into a top and smock pinafore!! How cool is that for changing between formal and csual wear!! lol.
I'm partial to this lovely simple golden angel sowing seeds of love and kindness from her little seed bag! the bag is a separate stamp and is surprisingly easy to line up. This angel has two little paper doily wings. I love the fall colours of this card.
And guess what else you can make!!!! Butterflies. Each wing is a separate stamp as is the butterfly body. Custom butterflies!!!
As promised today is another competition day - A free set of your choice goes to a random commentor on this post. The question I want you to answer is which is your favourite set from the 4 previewed in this weeks samples? - they are:
Halloween Party
Very Vintage Christmas
Say it with style
Earthangel
I will announce the winner tonight around 11pm (my time)!!!
Hope it tickles!!!

I am absolutely excited to see Halloween Party in all its glory! I love Halloween sets, but am very picky about the images in them. Your witch is wonderful! And I love how the cauldron and the contents are two separate stamps, now my witches brew can be very creative!
ReplyDeleteThis is a tough question to answer. Right now Very Vintage Christmas and Say It With Style are running neck and neck. How about Say It With a Very Vintage Christmas Style?
ReplyDeleteKatie M
Hi Claire, I just love Halloween Party and cannot wait to see it in real life! You are doing a great job and long may you continue. Sandra Candlish
ReplyDeleteOh my Claire! you are such a creative genious! you really think of versatility when you design your stamps - a good thing in these hard economic times for us stampers!!! - this angel is just so cute and I love how you can make her dress a jumper! Your samples are wonderful -
ReplyDeletewell - I love all your new sets so it's hard to pick a favorite - but lets see....... maybe the Christmas set because I just love the season!!
can't wait till tomorrow when we can see all of the complete sets!
I would have to say say Earthangel, just because of the beautiful sentimental story behind the creation...but they are all great, I've been waiting for a fatastic catch-all sentiment set and Say it with Style looks perfect !
ReplyDeleteHi Claire - Oh my goodness, I can't pick one favorite, but I already know that "Say it with Style" and "Very Vintage Christmas" are already in my cart....sooo, either one of those would be my favorite! Can't wait for tomorrow! Heather J.
ReplyDeleteOh Claire, you very clever girl!! This set is adorable and I love how versatile it is. As far as which is my favorite I can't pick!! I love the Say It With Style but the Very Vintage Christmas is beautiful and oh my I could go on about each one. I can't wait to see them tomorrow!!
ReplyDeleteHi Claire, i think that i like the Halloween best so far, i just love your Witch and can't wait till i get here home!!
ReplyDeleteThe Christmas set is a good number 2, the other 2 just have to wait a little while.
Hope to see everything tomorrow,
Hugs Yvon.
I think it's a tough decision since I like them all...but if I had to choose one I'm liking the Vintage Christmas. The font of the words is just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLoved Halloween Party and Very Vintage Christmas, but I think I'd get most use out of Say it With Style.
ReplyDeleteThey're all beautiful!
I was really waiting for your post today, I was so curious to see the last set to be previewed.
ReplyDeleteWow, keep designing these stamps because I love your style and you will receive an order from me tomorrow morning :)
Very Vintage Christmas is in my mind since the first moment I saw the samples but, I love all the other sets as well!!!! I like the witch in the Halloween set. Earthangel is SO CUTE as well, I love the butterfly!
I would like to ask you if you can write the supplies you used (cardstock, ink and copic colours), your colour combinations are great!
I love the Very Vintage Christmas and the Halloween party! I can see the little tealight decorations all over my house - and with a toddler, the battery operated tealights are perfect! Thanks for the chance ;o)
ReplyDeleteWell, if I must pick only one, I choose...no wait... no, ok, A Very Vintage Christmas. What can I say these images just spoke to me...sometimes I think I'm vintage:)
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to placing my first order.
I love the angel set. Very cool. Susan
ReplyDeleteI think Say It with Style is my favorite, but they are all lovely! The witch is amazing--so detailed--and the cauldron with its separate bubbles is fantastic--and your delightful rhyme. And Earthangel is so unique and sweet. I'm really excited to see the full sets! You are so creative and talented!
ReplyDeleteI really like the Very Vintage Christmas Set very much! I love it! hugs, michelle
ReplyDeleteJeepers Claire! You are so talented! I LOVE them all! I think my favorite is your halloween set. I love the witch!
ReplyDeleteThey're all great, but I love Christmas with a passion (I'm sure you can understand that!), so I would say my favourite is the Very Vintage Christmas, but the Halloween Party is running a close second because the images are so cute.
ReplyDeleteAll of the sets are lovely! If I could only choose one as my favorite I would have to say Very Vintage Christmas. Say it With style is a very close second. Good Luck with the launch tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteHmmmm....so difficult to choose one favorite. I would have to say Very Vintage Christmas. Looking forward to tomorrow!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a hard question to answer. Right now, I am most excited to see Halloween Party. The images so far have been fantastic and I can't wait to see more!
ReplyDeleteI love Christmas, so this is an easy choice for me! I do really like the butterfly element of the earthangel set, but Very Vintage Christmas still wins. I look forward to more Christmas ideas from you! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a hard question to answer as I have loved all the previews and sneak peeks of these wonderful stamp sets!! I would be happy with any of them!! But think I will go for Say it with Style!!
ReplyDeleteThanks xxx
Oh no another one of your stamp sets I NEED! lol. Your earthangel cards are stunning. Oh which set do i like the best, its sooo difficult Claire! oh um...oh dear...it must be.....um..earthangel, right I've decided, earthangel is my favorite...I think lol. Oh I used one of your lovely 'Irish Blessings' verses on my dt card this week, the dt girls just loved it. Enjoy your weekend. Donna x
ReplyDeleteI love seeing what you do with all your sets, but Very Vintage Christmas is my favorite....for today anyway.
ReplyDeletepat
I am going to have to say now it is the Earth Angel. I LOVE to be able customize the outcome so I am not getting the same effect everytime. She is very pretty and the butterflies, VERY CLEVER!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou've created some very lovely sets. I'd probably get the most use from Say It With Style.
ReplyDeleteI'm having a hard time deciding between the Very Vintage Christmas and Say it with Style. Depends on the mood of the moment, which one is "best". At the current moment, Say it with Style wins because it is hot outside and I can't think of Christmas when it's this hot. Is that a good enough reason?
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful release weekend.
Also looking forward to your new design team.
I just love Earthangel - what a brilliant idea. I love stamp sets that will suit all seasons. She looks like a little Victorian girl to me - lovely!
ReplyDeleteI have to say the halloween is my favourite, but I know I'm going to love the very vintage christmas too!! Nothing new there!! Cant wait to see them tomorrow!!
ReplyDeletehugs Angela x
I love Earthangel set! It's so cute and wonderful. I want to do some cards with these stamps. Can't wait till tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteIt's a tough call, but I think Halloween Party is my favorite! I just love that time of year and I'm ready to see what else this set has to offer!
ReplyDeleteHmmmmmm-that's a tough one---I really like Halloween party, but I think I'd use the Say it with Style ALL THE TIME---so I'm going to go with that one!
ReplyDeleteI really like the Say it With Style set - but they are all fabulous. The detail that has gone into them is amazing!
ReplyDeleteChristine
Such sweet angels and so much meaning it must hold for you, that it started as something you drew for your daughter! As for what stamp set is my favorite? While I love the witch from your Halloween set, I think my favorite is your Vintage Christmas! :>
ReplyDeletewithout a doubt for me it has to be "Very Vintage Christmas" it just reminds me of the book of illumination.
ReplyDeleteSo clever.
The halloween one looks awesome, but I'm going to have to answer the vintage christmas set. I love Christmas so much! But the angel set today is really cute too!
ReplyDeleteClaire, it's not fair to make us pick one!! :) But I have to say that Very Vintage Christmas is the one for me - I love all things Vintage AND Christmas. This set is so elegant I can't wait to buy it! Maybe I'll win it! Thanks for the chance, and good luck tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to pick a favorite because they are all wonderful, each in their own way, but I'm going to choose Earthangel. I'm partial to angels as they were a special delight to my dear mother.
ReplyDeleteYour cards are all fabulous but I think if I needed to pick a favourite it would have to be very vintage christmas - I love all those sayings as well - so hard to choose - can't wait until opening time!!
ReplyDeleteAlthough Earth Angel comes a very close second it still have to be Halloween party for me. They're all gorgeous. I love the way you've made them all so versatile.
ReplyDeleteDecisions, decisions! I am torn between Vintage Christmas and Say it with Style. Guess i'll just have to wait to see the full sets tomorrow -can't wait.
ReplyDeleteI am torn between Halloween party and very vintage christmas!! I am eager to see all the stamps for each set.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'll win this time... I was ALL excited yesterday.... as my name is Lee... but then I realized that it was not what I wrote, and that I actually come up as Katrynka, cause that is my google account name!
Oh, my word, Claire, but you have done an extraordinary thing: 4 stamp sets - all incredibly fun and interesting - at once!
ReplyDeleteMy fave is the Vintage Christmas. I can never get enough of anything vintage & I know that your darling set will be a gem of a keeper.
Thanks for designing and for sharing your wonders with us all!
To hard to choose Claire - I want em all! I love each and every one of the samples you've shown us this week. I think I'd have to say Very Vintage Christmas, but then again...
ReplyDeleteI am so excited about the Halloween set! Can't wait to see it all! I love making treats for this holiday most of all!
ReplyDeleteAll your sets are special Claire! but I love this little Earth Angel!!! such a gorgeous set for those little girls in the family but then Very Vintage Christmas would be a great set to own - this years Christmas cards would be sorted for sure!!!!
ReplyDeleteGood Luck to you Claire
