...goes for a wee spin

Didn't make any cards today - we went for a drive, thought you might like to have been there!!

Top is Legananny Dolmen a neolithic portal tomb on top of Slieve Croob - around 4000 years old. It really gives me the shivers to visit these things and touch the stones that other folks touched over 4000 years ago.

Middle is Spelga Dam with some sort of funny filter on the camera - it was a bit grey and I thought I'd play with the settings.

Bottom is a typical country road near the Mourne Mountains - It was a pity the day wasn't bit brighter but it was good enough.

Have a Goodie!! (my new favourite phrase after the latest round of PTI stamp releases)

  15. I am so drawn to your site, to see your pictures, because we finally made it to Ireland last Sept., but only for 4 days. I want to go back when I'm not on a bus tour. It was so beautiful. Fourteen generations ago, my ancestor came to the U.S. from the Ulster part of Ireland. And there is another speck of Irish in us from another side of the family. It's enough to make me love Ireland!! I also love your style of cards.
