The Big Cheese of the Week

Hi there!

I am here to bring you this week's Big Cheese. First, a few favorites from this week.

Did you see this super magic slider card that Amy Wanford made?

It sure does tickle, doesn't it? Who wants to try this out - I sure do!

Next is Lana, with this ahhh-mazing tag.

Tags are so much fun to make, and this one is stunning! The bit of black lace, the framed cameo, the pop of blue with the flourish! Love it, Lana!

And finally, our Big Cheese for this week... Jeanne Jachna with her outstanding Nutcracker card!

Here's what I love about this card: a non-traditional color scheme for Christmas (who would have thought pink and purple!), the stamped background (the swag image from Nutcracker Sweet is a favorite of mine), and not one - but two - big fat delicious bows!

Congratulations, Jeanne! Send me an email and we will provide you with a discount code for your next Waltzingmouse Stamps purchase.

Jeanne's card will be added to the Big Cheese highlight album in the WMS Gallery. Would you like the opportunity to be chosen? Post your new upload links here, a new thread starts every Monday!

...SOAP Day 4 and CASE Comp

WElcome to day 4 of our August SOAP event, today the ladies are reviewing the Afternoon Tea set, one of my faves!! I didn't get a chance to make anything as I am getting the last orders out in preparation for my two week break, starting later today!

Our store will remain open for browsing, but orders placed from now on will be shipped after the 20th August. We won't be able to answer email queries during this time either, so I thank you for your patience in advance.

Today also we invite you to participate in a CASE (Copy and Share Everything) competition.
Find a card or project from any of the projects posted over the past few days by the WMS Design Team, CASE that project using Waltzingmouse Stamp images, and link it using the Inlinkz on Claire’s blog at http://waltzingmouse.blogspot.com/. At the end of the competition, one project will be randomly selected to be highlighted with a Parade of its own on several of the Design Team blogs.
We hope you will enjoy this competition and that it will inspire your creativity. You have one week to complete and link your project as the competition will close on August 10th at 8:00 AM Claire’s time, which is 3 AM Eastern, 2 AM Central and Midnight, Pacific time. The winner will be announced on Claire’s blog on August11th.
If you looking for more inspiration and plenty of projects to CASE, just check out what the rest of the Design Team have to share with you today.  Their projects this week have been amazing.

The Big Cheese of the Week

We interrupt this regularly scheduled SOAP to bring you this week's Big Cheese. Fantastic job again this week, everyone.

Some projects of note, first. A lovely little number from Pauline Pollington:

With a fresh color combination and groovy graphic design, this card is simple yet oh-so-sophisticated. The big poofy bow and flower embellishment pushes it over the edge to pure deliciousness.

Next up is a fun summery card from Jeanne Jachna:

A fantastic birthday or graduation card - I love the mix of pink and yellow. Another big, lovely bow too!

And finally, our Big Cheese for this week. I fell in love with this beautiful Christmas card from Cassie K!

Cassie, I really don't know where to begin: the glittery stars, the flourish of rhinestones, or that incredible folded background peeking through the label window?!? Add me to your Christmas card list, because anyone would be lucky to receive this beauty! This is an amazing creation, and I'm inspired to try this folding technique myself. Great job ladies, don't you think?

Congratulations, Cassie! Send me an email and we will provide you with a discount code for your next Waltzingmouse Stamps purchase.

Cassie's card will be added to the Big Cheese highlight album in the WMS Gallery. Would you like the opportunity to be chosen? Post your new upload links here, a new thread starts every Monday!

Enjoy the rest of our SOAP festivities!

Helen - yep, WMS is a Spellbinders preferred partner company and the lovely folks at Spellbinders were very kind and sent me a little batch of upcoming dies....guess they know how I like to make stamps to match!! lol!!

DOH! I am a nit, I sent out the newsletter last night with the wrong date in it!!!! It said that I was releasing the new sets on July 1st - that should have been August 1st!! I decided to post here rather than send out more emails, as i sure hate to be an email pest...apologies...

Good morning!! Lots going on here today so I'll get right to it!

Today we're sneaking out two new Halloween sets, Cicely at Halloween and Gracie at Halloween. I'm keen to see how folks like these as I have planned more of these vintage style girl stamps planned.

Also we begin our August SOAP event today, it's our Stamp Of Approval Parade and the ladies have been creating up a storm behind the scenes to bring you even more ideas that you can use with the stamps that we released in July and which you might even have in your hands right now!

we're taking another look at:
Cameo to Go
Cameo Creations
Ovals, Classic Frames
Big Day Essentials

and on the last day of Soap we'll be having another look at one of my very favourite sets,  Afternoon Tea.

So, off you pop and enjoy the inspiration, take your notebook and keep an eye on designs that you like, we'll be running a CASE competition after the SOAP event, and we'll be inviting you to case your fave DT card. Here are the DT links!
